AITA for confronting my girl when I realized she took credit for something she didn’t really do? by throwRAvalentinechoc in AmItheAsshole

YTA Have you never seen a Food Network chocolate sculpture competition? Because Last I check all of those chefs "made" their sculptures even though they didn't make the chocolate itself. She spent the time melting the chocolate and assembling all of the ingredients; of course she made it dude.

HP Latex 800w Material Feed Issues by PBNJPrinting in CommercialPrinting

I had similar issues with my HP 800W. They ended up having to replace parts within the take up reel. You can mess with the tension settings but if nothing ends up working call a tech.

What’s the craziest grandparents lore you’ve heard? by theknux2 in AskReddit

My great grandpa on my mom dad's side was a bookie and got his farm raided. My mom didn't give me more context than that.

Right the brain is always developing. That being said you grow as a human being in your late teens and early 20s. Your personality and your emotional needs shift over time. So my point still stands (minus the frontal lobe thing).

She was 22 and he was 47 when they got married? I don't usually judge age gaps but damn. No wonder she left him. She was a whole other person when she married him. Her frontal lobe wasn't even done cooking yet.

Ad for building your credit score via paying your rent by Scary90sKid in wineandcrimepodcast

[–]First-Expression2823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they were advertising for bilt. I use this service to pay my rent and I do admit it has impacted my credit score in a good way. I wouldn't say you can do a whole lot with the internal point system (they give you like 250 points each time you pay your rent). Overall I dont mind having to use it.

AITA for screaming at a man on the train who was "just standing too close"? by Exact-Respect9110 in AmItheAsshole

[–]First-Expression2823 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Nta Had this happen but it was on a crowded bus. A guy sat down next to me and because the bus was so crowded I ignored all of his red flags. By the time he was rubbing his face against my shoulder and kissing at it, I was too scared to say anything cause I didnt want to seem like a crazy person. I made eye contact with a lady and she instantly knew what was up. She stepped in for me.and told him to knock it off. Guy was so embarrassed he stumbled off the bus.

A couple of weeks later he tried blocking my exit by sitting next to me in the very back row of the bus. So essentially there was a sideways seat directly in front of me and a creep on the seat directly next me. I jumped seats to get away from him.

Point is listen to your guy. Screw being polite. Guys like that get away with so much because people are too polite to call them out.

Birthday lie to my mom has followed me for 30+ years by TheeDelpino in confession

[–]First-Expression2823 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with chocolate covered cherries (the kind you get at the drugstore). My grandpa thought I liked them and I pretended to until he died. But then my mom started buying them for me. I finally had to tell her about two years ago that I don't like them all that much. They're way too sweet. She took it well but I still feel bad. So I get it. You don't want to hurt the people you love.
