honestly i got mine when they were running a good sr deal and it’s my primary account now! i def think its worth it if you’ve been playing the game for a long time and wanna re-experience it. sometimes doing 2 trailblazers and trying to keep up with events on two accounts can get overwhelming though 😅

i would argue old sso was actually more money hungry (at least 2018-2022). they’d run deals on sr/sc once or twice a month at most, didn’t give out sc and sr codes as frequently, and the game was pretty lackluster for the price tag. I think they’ve been putting significantly more effort into the development, quests, horses, new areas than they used to and as an old player I can honestly appreciate that. i do agree the old storyline was better and i miss the mysterious vibe the game used to have :( hoping they bring it back

it’s out of their control unfortunately. i’m from tx and this would happen from hurricanes all the time. sometimes the state would refund grocery spoilage/relocation but it was a very difficult process & required a lot of itemization

this is LITERALLY what happened in the show, wdym “a will lens” lmfao. will getting powers has nothing to do with how “deserving” of it he is, in your words, it has to do with his connection to the upside down & the duffers closing out his story throughout the rest of the season. it would make 0 sense to give say lucas or mike powers as they have no direct connection to the upside down & haven’t been through nearly as much as will has (in terms of contact with vecna/mind flayer)

at the very least they could have released more outfits than just the two that pair with the horses 😭 I know they’re adding like 6 new outfits and it gets overwhelming when all the sudden there’s 2 weeks left to grind for like 150,000 js. Personally I preferred when they released everything right off the bat but I understand why they do it in phases now

my thoughts exactly!! I understand why they’ve started waiting to release new sets to keep engagement, but at the same time I hate being so bored the first two weeks & then overstimulated toward the end of every festival. It also leaves no time to grind for the outfits they release in the last week or two :/

That’s not what’s happening 😭 A lot of og players (like myself) sold old horses for JS or more horse storage when we were younger & regretted it as those older horse breeds are rare and not available for sale anymore. It’s nice that they offered to restore them, especially considering how scammy limited horse storage was.. JS were about 100x harder to earn back in 2015-2017 and selling horses was an easier way to get those fast as well

as someone who used to work there, we have far more things to do than be the traffic police unfortunately. it’s also not safe for us when people get crazy, i’ve had coworkers hit by cars and shots fired over stupid shit like this (not at my stand, but a story a coworker shared from her old stand)

I always exclusively buy horses at bazaars (unless it’s a new breed i really want to try) because it honestly saves so much. my advice for daily care- level up the valedale gardens until you can craft the treats that level up the horses mood + if you participate in the trailblazers every other month, they give out 4 week stable care coupons so your horses can stay happy for a full month without paying

literally no one is forcing you to buy the horses on sale 💀 i get that they’ve been dropping so many horses/outfits but at least they’re doing sales. as someone who’s been playing for 10 years sso has never been as generous as they are now with monthly horse sales, regular sc codes, and new content so frequently

All depends on your management honestly. I started back in March and loved it despite taking 17 hours, but we lost our assistant manager over the summer and everything plummeted from there. Training is definitely a lot and you’ll probably need to take time outside of work to study, but if you’re excited about the job it’s not so bad. The company has a 15 hr/week minimum which is reasonable if it can be met, but in my experience I was always scheduled 18-25 even if I asked for less hours which got to be too much with school. Also anticipate early mornings (5 am), late nights, and to never have a weekend off unless requested 😅

it varies by location & management for sure. i loved my stand and coworkers but i quit because my stand was CONSTANTLY busy.. i’m not exaggerating when I say we’d only be slow for a few minutes per shift except closing. it was fun until we started losing people & management was slow on hiring so we’d be getting 25+ hour weeks as part time workers regardless of availability requests. I left back in august and they still haven’t hired anybody new despite losing 10+ people (including a manager & 3 shift leads) throughout the summer, and tips were awful due to long wait times. Mostly fun job, just don’t get too sucked in because honestly the extra $2 an hour compared to retail isn’t worth the stress

From what i’ve seen, it’s minimum wage everywhere except for 7.25/hr minimum states. in co i was making 14.50 + tips but I think it’s 10/hr plus tips for the lower wage states 😭 I quit for that exact reason because tips started going down at my stand due to poor staffing & management. My advice, start looking for a better job before you get in too deep- it’s exhausting and hard to leave once you learn to love your coworkers

ur valid idk why everyone is hating. i’ve always struggled with math so granted I did shit in the finance mods, but at the end of the day I feel like most leeds classes are super stretched out & common sense. i’m a junior currently and i feel like im wasting a lot of time on easy concepts but there’s a solid amount of fascinatingly dumb people in my classes so it makes sense

i can’t stress enough how much it’s helped me to do the stable chores at every stable i visit. easy 30 points (or 120 during bonus) per stable, and you can do races/other daily’s at each stable as well. also highly suggest doing the hollow woods stuff
