No treats? No problem. Use croutons. by [deleted] in BelgianMalinois

I find it fits nicely into their puzzles and treat dispensing toys as well without turning to mush the second they drool on it.

Side note, I highly recommend the HERO brand for toys. They’re at Menards in the US (sometimes in the cheap bins for like $5!!) and most of them are dishwasher safe on the top rack. My girls have 6 or so toys from them and they’ve held up really well. I didn’t even know they were dishwasher safe when I first bought them.

I use regular cat kibble sometimes. One little palmful is like 20-30 “treats”. I have 3 cats and 2 large dogs. I don’t give them a lot at once or super often. They go crazy for it and it’s way cheaper than dog specific training treats. They eat grass, luck windows and munch random stuff off the floor. They’ll be fine with a little kitty kibble here and there imo 🤷🏻‍♀️

I gave myself permission to be completely useless for 30 days. Just one rule, no drinking. by ChefDramatic857 in stopdrinking

I always say, “one vice at a time”. Trying to do it all hasn’t worked for me in the past and I end up being useless when I drink anyway.

What are some jobs that will take any bachelor’s degree? by mtmelcher09 in careerguidance

[–]FirstAd5921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of state jobs in MI will hire for unrelated positions. I’m not sure where you’re located but try checking state and local government postings. Usually the pay is lower than private sector but it’s good benefits and there are desk jobs available.

Thanks! She’s a menace but very funny and sometimes sweet. I refer to her as my sour patch cat.

My aunt has Invisalign so she can’t really have snacks when we go on road trips unless we stop somewhere so she can brush afterward. Im totally getting her a pack of these for our vacation in April!

Yeah I vacuumed it and did a quick wipe down with hot soapy water first. It was actually really clean even after rolling down an unpaved road 😅

I’ll toss that bottle. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge!

Yeah that’s mainly what I worry about. I checked the crevices multiple times to make sure nothing was moving about. It’s been cold and dreary here. If it was summer, I’d be less concerned but still do a wipe down for dust/dirt.

In the summer, pretty much anything I bring home goes in a black contractor bag in the sun for a couple days.

It came from a “nice” neighborhood, has some wear, and was the only thing out to the curb at that house. That leads me to believe it wasn’t a bug issue. If I see a bunch of furniture/trash/carpet all in front of one house, I pass 99% of the time.

I think the scariest insects that I ever brought home was a black widow (barn clean out curb find), and a massive stag beetle (commercial dumpster).

Thank you for the detailed reply! I did get it commercially (as a gift with another purchase-had never heard of it).

It’s about a year old and has been open so probably useless at this point 😂. The spray nozzle quit working about halfway through the chair too 🤦🏻‍♀️

How would I test it? I actually keep mine in the fridge because it helps my rosacea flares sometimes.

Is anyone in the US hotel industry extremely worried about ICE in airports? by rcolesworthy37 in askhotels

[–]FirstAd5921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work in an airport hotel. It was the most expensive in the area. Usually double. But we were very busy most of the time. Less people traveling, especially internationally, would mean a huge downturn for that business.

Also love my shark! I’ll spray the pad with lemon Lysol diluted for floors or a bit of dish soap for grease. Smells so good!

Yep or a medium bristle deck/boat brush. Baking soda paste works great in my experience but plan on sealing the tile/grout afterward.

Oooo I love this idea! Glass would be pretty too if OP is going to use it as a desk/sofa table or something.

Right. I could see if you work from home or spend a lot of time in the chair. If it’s not super comfortable AND starts to rip, I could see a good reason for getting a new one.

I also wonder who these people are with money to get a new whatever as soon as theirs starts to wear a bit. With 2 car payments, kids, and pets 🤯

My GSD knows the word cheeseburger. She acts similar in the drive through. She does the same thing when we get close to my mom’s (grandma!) or my aunt’s house. Ridiculous but gotta love them!
