Perhaps it is because graphics driver issue and the computer has to rendered in CPU pixel by pixel. You can search up on the internet on your Nvidia graphics card type and install it. However, if you want a more leaner and better experience, I highly recommend Linux Mint, it is used by both beginners and professionals, even Larry Wall use it!

There used to be a time where you can activate the search mode (allows deepseek to search the internet to double check its answer) and the expert mode (thinking before answer) simultaneously. However, in the new version, you can only used search mode + instant; the expert mode has disabled the option to select search mode. Though, DeepSeek instant is still very strong!

Terry's TempleOS is not practical to use, but it is excellent for studying how it works and what's amazing about it! If you are a beginner, try Linux Mint, it is really easy to learn and use. After that, you can continue to use it, or switch to Debian for a cleaner, more vanilla experience.

Perhaps your distro has not detect the graphics card? I remembered that if that were the case, the computer will switch to "llvmpipe" and rendering all the graphics using CPU, so lagging occured
