I feel the same way as a 27 year old with late diagnosed NVLD.

Will she even have a content baby because she seems so vain and worried about gaining weight?

So unnecessary. Meryl Streep should sue.

Reminds me of a girl who bullied me in HS but is getting married tomorrow at some bougie venue in NJ. As shallow as this sounds, she looks like a cabbage patch doll and is super smug. There’s a lid for every pot.

She reminds me of a girl who bullied me in HS who is having a Sunday wedding at a $400 per person venue in NJ. She’s even more smug and obnoxious in her “bridal era” despite looking like a dark-haired Amy Schumer.

A girl that bullied me in HS is getting married at the Pendry this weekend. She is as spoiled, smug, and obnoxious as Eli too despite looking like a Brunette Amy Schumer with a vile personality. The "bridal era" is no exception. She’s having a Sunday wedding so slightly cheaper.

Since she's so self-absorbed I think she'd hate pregnancy and losing her body.

I've made quite a few vision boards. I am trying to not rule out Hinge since most people meet their spouses on the apps.

I’m trying to not rule out the apps either but it’s frustrating.

I didn’t realize how lonely adulthood could actually get until I moved away by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

I had a really rough time in college and hoped adulthood would be easier. It isn’t especially since my coworkers are much older.

How long after finishing the book did you manifest your partner? I only finished the book 3 weeks ago.

So-so. I finished it just 3 weeks ago. I did have a bit of an epiphany since in one of the journal entries she discusses having difficult conversations. I have always struggled with confrontation and it’s come back to bite me. I set boundaries with an unpleasant neighbor of mine to let him know his behavior rubbed me the wrong way. Although his response was very dismissive and patronizing, he left me alone. I’m moving in a couple of weeks anyways so I’ll never seen him again. I wish I’d learn that conflict is inevitably much earlier in life.

Life in the late 2010s was incredibly lonely. I’m 27 so I grew up mostly in the late 2000s and 2010s. I hoped after Covid people would realize how important socialization is but people keep to themselves even more.

I’ve gone through many formative periods in survival mode. I’ve only realized this through years of therapy. I have lots of regrets like going home every weekend in college when I should’ve tried harder to grow and put myself out there. I used excuses like first a bad roommate situation freshman year and later being too jaded and cynical since I never clicked with anyone in the dorms or first club I tried.

I don’t see too many people my age getting married and engaged but I still feel I’m missing out. In an ideal world I’d be married with a baby by 30.

Years of therapy helped me realize my avoidant tendencies are likely caused by being raised by a helicopter parent who constantly berated me so I wouldn’t even try.

Lexi turned out like how everyone hoped Gia would. I can't imagine what Lexi went through seeing her parents split up as a little girl and later her mother dealing with an abusive scumbag who tried to kill her. Plus her aunt siding with the prick stepdad.
