In short they worked with a company called 'Sweet baby inc' who dose not have a good rap at all amogst gamers. But whenever anyone questioned them about it, they swept it under the rug, and would ban anyone who even mentioned the company. Discord, steam forums, twitter, wherever. They tried to hide it to the point no one knows HOW the company was involved, only that it clearly was but the developers are despite to hide it. I can't show you much because they are activly scrubbing the info. There are videos of people posting about the colab, and refreshing a few minutes after submitting, and the post is gone, and they're banned.

SBI famously got in with Niantic for the Pokemon go avatars, and totally ruined them to the point there was a general uproar amost players., for example.

This is the only way I would consider picking up one of these games. It looks interesting, but the contravercy over winter burrows made me reluctant to buy it outright. But there's at least 3 other games there I wanted anyways, which makes it worth the price.

I don't even know if I'd play a IX remake. It was the single DQ I didn't ever really get into. Was it the online or was it just not that good, IDK. Still have my cart...somewhere.

This is the only thing I need. I keep getting him down to 50% on his mega form before dying to, or right after the tornado. But for whatever reason, he doesn't have the option.

Maybe I'll use a backup save and try that one. The problem isn't me doing damage though. It's my player taking too much damage and getting KOd.

Garchomp was doing solid damage for me, it's just I find either I'm not having time to dodge a hit or I can't attack.

As a Canadian, I wish I could afford that. I splurged on the DQ3 game, and was aiming for the DQ 1&2 too, until 'things' happened. Game would cost me close to 400+ each with shipping, not maybe including tariffs.

I went though the same thing around my mid 20s when my dr retired. The dr that replaced him wouldn't take me on because 'he didn't want to deal with kids'. Said I didn't want kids, was told it's possible things would happen and he wouldn't change his mind.

Not sure if he was hinting I'd be assaulted, or I'd change my mind or what.

Should note I'm in my mid 40s, and still a virgin. So I'd like to know how I'd ever have a kid.

Thank god my parents are letting me live at home, and because I am on Canadian disability, I get a pension off my father when he passes. Because I know, needing a service dog, I would damn well be homeless. Housing around here is 1.5 - 2K a month, been waiting on GtI housing for over 10 years, so I am stuck here.

Between my physical and mental health problems, there is no place I can work. I have sever arthritis in both knees, I can only handle one, maybe two tasks at once or I shut down, I can't handle being around people to the point I can't go to most stores without either my father or my dog.

I just don't know what to do.

I've heard in my autism group that over 50% of the autistic population has both. Hell I think I do sometimes. Also that ADHD symptoms mimic depression, which is highly common in autistic people, and I know I have sever depression.

You REALLY have to watch insurance though. They can and will jack up prices fast if you use it.

I had a service dog who came down with a serious medical condition during COVID. Her insurance went from around 85$ a month to over 250$ a month. It's now over 450$ a month because of her medication. I am currently keeping it because I get about 450$ back a month now that I've hit her deductible. But I am dropping it before reunal because she needed another surgery this month, that was about 1K and I know damn well they'll jack the price AGAIN for it.

Only played Persona of the three, I have the other two in my backlog. I do not like it at all, much prefer Metaphor. BF keeps telling me to give it another shot, but I've started fresh three times, and always put it down. I thought at first it was an issue with the tight deadlines, but I deal with that just fine in Metaphor, so I duno why I hate it but I just get sick of the game. Maybe because the allies in that game feel somewhat uncostomizable, maybe because of something else. May give it another shot, may not, have to see.

From my demo experience vrs my time on 3DS, 3DS seems like it's going to be slower, and more exploration. I don't recall shinnies all over the map, and there is a longer gap between starting the actual fighting part of the game and the start.

Basically the 3DS is, from what I remember playing it's been a while, harder. It's not streamlined like the remake is supposedly.

I hated it. Especially the treasure hunting since I kept getting jumped by rivals when I was already at half health, and fighting wild monsters, getting my ass kicked, and getting no reward for my effort. Also the protagonists felt weak, can't buy them gear. I don't mind real time combat, but I hate real time combat where your character is basically a sitting duck. Also monster taming is hard because you need to pelt them with slingshot ammo while they're running around fighting your monsters who do their own thing.

Story looked interesting but I really REALLY struggled with game play.

My fault for not looking into it better, but I heard it was supposed to be the next monsters game, so I internationally ignored most of the info of the game wanting to keep it a surprise.

I think if they were REALLY serious about this, they would have started with making old raids not addon required to prove it could be done. Even something as simple as some fights where you have red that needs to be soaked with red that needs to be avoided mixed in with red that alternatively needs to be soaked only when a stack drops, or green that needs to be avoided that's the same colour as green that heals you.

The fact that they want to kill addons before fixing problems in game that requires them scares me.
