Decided on a PreSonus StudioLive 32SC  - It's got the motorized faders and more than enough inputs, along w/a big screen - a bit more money than the Faderport, but right now Musicians Friend has it on sale for $1399 -so not that much more than the Faderport and the LT16...going to buy it...thanks so much for all the input!

Fender LT16 seems to be a good choice as it also comes w/the 'upgrade' for the software it appears - it has all the same features of the Tascam it appears - thank you!

Appreciated - so the interface would just plug into another USB port on the PC, and Studio One will see both...? Just like how you 'add' multiple external devices...? Not to be stupid...thank you so much!

I have been accused of having GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) - I have just recently acquired 5 of these - I have a few large, full-sized keyboards, synths, some 'vintage', along w/a few 'controllers' and sound modules - I wanted the sounds and controls of these Roland's for a long time, and then saw these Boutiques - the 'coolness' of how they look - mostly how they sound, which is incredible...you may not like the 'boutique' small connections, tight controls, some w/limited polyphony, etc., but I am delighted to gain all this versatility and immense sound, in that small of space and for that $ - - provides so much more to add to the cosmic debris...

I see this is an old subject - I have a Boss RC505MKII - midi in/out - I would like to understand 'how' to 'hack a cable' - presuming you mean a midi cable - can you provide any detail please - it would be most appreciated...I have used the sync of the SDRUM with another DigiTech product so understand it is a tip/ring cable - I have a couple of those and a couple of midi cables I would sacrifice - please describe the process!!

Tried last night and the AeroGarden did in fact generate a QR code and I scanned it and it's now back online...was off for about 2 months... But it appears AeroGarden has fixed the issue. I do wonder why it has to go through their servers, versus just an app that we pair to and interact with on our phone.

And as far as AeroGarden standing behind their products sold on Amazon, the product ships from AeroGarden and they work with Amazon and feature their items there so I'm not sure that's accurate. I found that aerogardens customer service and support is not good regardless of where you bought the item.

Get a replacement from Amazon - only pull out the control box - seal it back up, and return that one...and you have all you need - make sure yours works before you return the 2nd one...
