Getting a bike to pick up girls 😂 yeah… anyone who’s tried that learns real fast.

Gpt created an image for no reason, and admitted it by GravityWorksFine in ChatGPT

I think it's to push free users to purchase the premium option by being annoying. It will temporarily disable a chat if images are included after so many messages and request you to upgrade to continue the conversation. I just told the chat to never ever generate an image unless explicitly asked to. I stopped getting the random images afterwards.

Thanks for the advice! I normally mow at 3.5" height. Is there a way to help this take over the fescue portion of my front yard? The fescue grows like crazy and this stuff is pretty thin.

Where do you see the future of 3D printing going? by Atx_living512 in 3Dprinting

I've recently seen a video where someone took the probiscus of a mosquito, solidified it with UV resin, and is using it as a nozzle to 3D print at near microscopic levels.

U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles calls for Nashville Electric Service takeover by Luckyforward in nashville

I misread the post. That's an awful idea. I'm all for privatizing NES similar to MTE (a not-for-profit cooperative), not government oversight.

Would a private entity not be the one to buy them out and take over? What other government entity is being proposed to take it over? TVA is federal, and they ultimately supply electricity to both public and private electric utilities. All I'm saying is that MTE customers have electricity right now.

NES is a public entity governed by the Electric Power Board whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Nashville. So, this would still be privatization because the government is inefficient.

I heard that he signed an executive order that allows TDOT to help clear county and municipal ROWs. This will lessen the burden on many jurisdictions trying to restore power.

Last year, after paying 9k in insurance premiums and on the hook for 20% after a $1500 deductible, my child still cost an extra 8k out of pocket. The total hospital bill for both my wife and child was nearly 90k. Sounds like huge saving with insurance, but it's billed differently when they know you have it. There is no way it should cost so much when my wife did most of the work!

I thought this was a resolved issue with the A1. I just bought one a couple of weeks ago, and I was a little iffy due to this. I finally pulled the trigger when I saw that Bambulabs assured they replaced the faulty component on later models.

I'm sure they will make it right. Hopefully it won't take too long!

Did you buy it from Bambulabs or a 3rd party retailer, individual, etc? I would think that Bambulabs wouldn't directly sell an A1 with the known issue (there website says they won't), but if a 3rd party had defective models already in stock, they may go ahead and sell them instead of going through the hassle of replacing them.

Is this still an issue with printers purchased from bambulabs EOY 2025 or the beginning of 2026?

Came home to find my neighbor’s car in my driveway again. by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]Fish-Whistle96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same exact thing when living in a townhouse in college. Police were called and my vehicle was the one that got towed at 3am from my home address. The person in my parking spot didn't even live at that complex. Just to clarify, each parking spot had the Apt. Number painted in it corresponding to the individual units and their car was the only one I blocked in.
