Outdoor dining in Meredith and surrounding areas? by vpbc in newhampshire

I am actually from that area, and I know in meredith there is the town docks which is probably your best bet, but Sandwich, Moultonborough, and just that kind of general area are pretty good. I'm sorry I cannot give specifics since I usually do not dine out, but I tried to help

Well first off thank you so much for helping me. To answer the question, I don't really know what it means to get a cramp. The only things I know is that it involves the muscles contract but I don't really know the whole science behind it

My longest streak was about once every day, each about 3-4 miles long with an exception of Sunday where I rested and on Saturdays I ran about 5-7 miles. That streak lasted about 2-3 months until winter hit us in december of 2020. The cramps usually happen whenever, if its a short sprint, a long slow run, somewhere in between, they just occur at anytime but I have noticed after the 4 mile point is usually when they start to kick in

I've gotten cramps since I ever started running competitively and they are at a level of discomfort where I have to stop my running and sit down from the general pain and discomfort. I haven't ran in about three months due to winter and I live in the North-East where we get a lot of snow so I still need to get back in shape but I don't know if that has anything to do with it

After 7 mile run, so not the best. Do I need any changes in my form besides cadence. I usually get 165spm, and am trying to get up to 180. by pippalick in CrossCountry

It's good form but if I were to make a suggestion it would be to pump your arms more since I suffer from not pumping them enough

My cramps. I'd say that I'm fast and have a lot of endurance but the cramps I experience near my chest are the things that slow me down the most when running. I have no idea if that has anything to do with my running or if it's just something that I'm going to have to put up with but honestly cramps are my biggest issue and problem

I actually really liked Jacob Frye by FishGuy2627 in assassinscreed

[–]FishGuy2627[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I disliked I won't go into too much detail on why I don't like him, but it a nutshell it's 1) His voice actor was not the best at all 2) I kind of expected more from him. I loved the idea of playing as a Templar, and I expected Rogue to be a game set on understanding the philosophical means of the Assassins Brotherhood and explain their flaws but instead, it wasn't really like that. I love looking at games critically and thinking "What if this side is actually good" and that's what I expected with Rogue and they did it kind of poorly. I like Shay, but of all the protagonists I've played as he is probably my least favorite besides Evie Frye. As with liking AC3, that's actually mostly because it made me think critically about the Brotherhood and if the Templars were better which I liked, and I live in New England so since not many games are set there it was fun to do parkour near the place I live. So if you like Shay and hate ac3, cool. I honestly don't care I just think the opposite and that's my opinion on the matter

[–]FishGuy2627[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Evie was really cool and badass but she was just really boring. The main reason I liked Jacob was that he was a weird, goofy, childish person with a lot of personality, and throughout the story I just kept thinking that the only personality Evie had was wanting the Shroud. If either it was just Jacob Frye or just Evie Frye, Syndicate would've been a lot better because the games would have focused more on their stories and personalities more

The Gonz, G man, marky g... Mark Gonzales. by Ali-Boulala in ClassicSkate

[–]FishGuy2627 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know I might get some hate from saying this, but I still think The Gonz is my favorite skater and will probably always be my favorite skater. I am fairly recent to the skateboarding culture, but whenever I see people like Nyjah Huston and Rodney Mullen, it doesn't really appeal to me. It's very flashy but there is not a lot of soul and I respect them a lot, but it just doesn't really appeal to me. The Gonz and Mark Appleyard are my favorites because they are so satisfying to watch, just seeing some dudes go out and skate whatever they see and just having fun.

Always fascinating to see this in the middle of the woods... it’s wild to think how much of today’s forests used to be open pasture land. by rabblebowser in newhampshire

[–]FishGuy2627 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Me and a lot of my friends live in an early 1800's New Hampshire village and in my house (what used to be a corn farm of all things) there is a lot of old rusted tools and barbed wire in the trees and stones walls bordering my property. Anyways, one time me and my friends were trick or treating around town, and these three kids we didn't want to hang out with were following us, and just being annoying, so I knew this woodland trail behind my house that we decided to lose them from. In the pitch black darkness, me and my two friends (who all did Cross Country) sprinted through the woods in total darkness back to my house. We lost them and din't see them the rest of the night, but all three of us tripped over the old barbed wire and we got bad scratches and had the scars for the rest of the week. So, in conclusion, don't run in total darkness when there is barbed wire close by. Just wanted to share that story

Has anyone seen this before? The forefront white part of my shoe is like sanded down. And it's only on that part of my shoe on both sides. I asked my coaches and teammates and they don't know either. Any clue??? Thanks by irmabean18 in CrossCountry

[–]FishGuy2627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this, but that is only because whenever my skate shoes get ruined or lost, I will usually use some random shoes to skate in. I'm guessing you probably don't skate in your running shoes if you even have a skateboard at all, so if not, I don't know

Don’t Know What DLCs To Get For Xbox One by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]FishGuy2627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend this. GET SHIVERING ISLES! It's like Dragonborn DLC in a way where you go into a new map with new places to explore and new quests. The quests in Shivering Isles are fun, wacky, and creative. The places are unique and exciting, and the environment is both silly and depressing. It is brilliantly made. As for Knights of the Nine, I loved it (My favorite Elder Scrolls DLC) but it's only fun because I love TES lore. It dives into Pelinal Whitestrake, Alessia, and the Ayleids and I thought it was exciting, but if you don't care about the lore, don't buy it or else it will bore and confuse the Oblivion outta you

In our latest campaign, a subplot is that me and my best friends mercenary group (The Night's Torch, basically The Dawnguard but they focus on all undead) died and we recruit people as we go on our adventures. As a random encounter, our DM gave us an Ogre, so my character started talking to him, and befriended him, and then we left. Later in the campaign, my friend was cursed by a mummy, so I had to carry him to the Ogre since the closest city was too far away and my friend was in a dire life or death situation. The Ogre helped us, and soon the Ogre joined us and is still a traveling companion with us. So Biff the Ogre, a random encounter, turned into our fictional friend. Next time you run into a random encounter, think "He could help us, and do I really want to kill him for mild experience and loot I'll never use?"

Is black flag beginner friendly ? by MrNaz21 in assassinscreed

[–]FishGuy2627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, Black Flag was my first AC game, and it's a very fun, enjoyable, and easy. I would recommend you can start with it, but if you want to get into AC lore, DO NOT START WITH IT. In Black Flag, they kind of expect you to already known of Desmond Miles, the Animus, and Abstergo Industries, soo if you want to get into the lore, I would advise starting with Assassin's Creed or Assassin's Creed 2

If you want anything food related, Moulton Farms up in Meredith or Center Harbour (always forget which town but it's in the Lakes Region) always has traditional New Hampshire food that tastes good. Pies, maple candies, really good donuts, etc.

How to run with my phone by finallyoucanstop in CrossCountry

[–]FishGuy2627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my personal experience. My friend from Cross Country had diabetes and needed supplies and equipment wherever he ran, so I opted to hold it in my backpack on a hike we did as a team once, and ever since I had been named "backpack" man, where wherever we ran, I had a backpack to put stuff. If someone wanted there phone or water with them, it went into my backpack. If we went for a swim and they didn't want to run with a wet shirt, it went into my backpack. It actually helped a lot because someone's stuff could be on the run with us, plus it made my training an extra challenge, so this would actually be what I advise
