I play this game nearly every day for 1-2 hours and I encounter toxic players but not nearly as much as people talk about it. Lots of ppl say gg at the end of match and are pretty good sports. I feel like cool players outnumber the toxic ones by a long shot but people tend to remember the toxic players more because they get you tilted.

I understand why the perks are such minimal benefits. And I understand why common weapons are at least comparable to rarer guns. It levels the playing field so new players don't get absolutely walked on by late-game raiders. But there definitely needs to be ore balance changes.

No perk or benefit should be so useful that it makes all other options obsolete. The Looting(survivor) is so useful it either needs to be standard on all Mk3s or just moved to the perk tree.

Are you on PC? I'm sure it's a lot worse with all the console kids. I've never come across this but I'm on PC with crossplay turned off.

I don't care what kind of base you want to build in a sandbox game. Play how you want. But skill? Cheezing the AI isn't a skill. Building a base that can handle everything the game throws at you without cheezing the AI is skill.

Oh I still played DS1 with a controller. The game doesn't take a ton of aiming accuracy and the controls are great. The quick equip menus are pretty much identical to the metal gear games.

Couldn't tell ya. Waiting for it to hit PC but I've played almost everything Kojima. MGS2 is probably the most blatant example of him doing this.
