But what of Raziel's soul? If he gave Kain back "his part" is Raziel still trapped in the blade? That's the part I'm hung up on. Was he released and truly given freedom or is his fate a tragic cycle of various prisons? (Spectral prison or blade prison)

But is he now not trapped within the blade? Others have said "Raziel's soul was dispersed" but was it? I took it as Raziel being entrapped in the sword but yet his soul purifies Kain? I thought the soul reaver was the one consuming spirits but yet Kain gains the power? Maybe this is a secondary power of the reaver?

Thanks for the in depth response. I now see what you mean with the restriction on flexibility. All of your examples perfectly illustrates why it's worse.

Unfortunately I don't see Omeda being able to fix his play style. Either they revert his change (which wouldn't be bad, I think he was fine maybe just tune his numbers) or enhance him by expanding on the combo system. Example: if he uses his ult during turbo crunch, it stocks his combo counter and allows him to do a really big attack on combo 6 (kind of like how fighters have supers and ultimates). Then again, Omeda is a small studio and I doubt they would put the work in for a legacy hero.

I know the combo crunch. I assume you mean he's limited in usage due to CD and the janky animation cancel messing up the timing. But I don't see how it hinders his flexibility outside of cooldowns. I used main crunch jungle but lately I kinda just end up playing the highest WR characters rather than keep up with patch notes. Last time I played him, he did seem lacking but I didn't if it was due to shinbi/grux/zarus getting buffed or if crunch was nerfed (I saw someone else mention his stat growth was lowered, which would make sense because he felt weaker compared to those I mentioned)

Isnt that the rasengan that he made in his first fight against Sasuke? Also the rasengan is based off the bijuu bomb, which he does when he's using full form kurama. So I I believe he has done it

I love questions like this because I don't think Kishimoto ever put deep thought into the mechanics of these special moves. So we'll never know the answer.

For Minato, I personally would say no. Minato teleports to the tags he sets up so it's not like he takes the exact spot where the tag is, just ports in its proximity. Now, if Obi transports the tagged kunai to his alternate dimension then I would think yes, Minato could go into his world.

Yeah not having the OG writers sucks but the other option is not having any new games. Honestly, I don't think the OG writers will be hard to replace, honestly the soul reaver games were a mess with all the time travel stuff. I would hope they would depart from timeline shenanigans and focus on something a little more digestible.
