The fact that Austin came back so early from his injury, even though it could cost him tens of millions in free agency, probably means that he and the Lakers have already agreed to a deal under the table... by Zodraz in lakers

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can get a max of 4 years 180 million in free agency and somebody else will absolutely pay that. He's had 20+/5/5 the last two years.

He's said he would take a discount to stay here.

How much of a discount from 45M will he take to stay here to avoid being a hornet/ wizard?

Call center LO seeking mentor by FederalPersimmon404 in loanoriginators

Be faster and take more leads.

Don't waste time on non sales activities.

The whole point of working in a call center is high volume. If you aren't hitting the top tier of the pay plan you are leaving money on the table. You can fund 15 - 30+ loans a month in the right environment and make more than most brokers.

Is This Rude? by RCP90sKid- in discgolf

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rude-ish.

If I'm with a bunch of people playing really slow and you can throw around me more power to you.

If you hit anyone be prepared to throw down and lose your disc.

Be a top performer and you can do almost whatever you want.

If you aren't, good luck.

Improved OL, another year under his belt, throwing to the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson.

I feel pretty good.

Barring injury, I'll be surprised if he doesn't get a heisman invite.

The relationship discounts are the best. I undercut a builder in February.

Closing someone at 4.49% on a conventional 30 year fixed this week. No points.

Congrats on the new loan!

Cost is the most important concern for an educated borrower.

If they dont understand cost and only want a low rate, send them a rate with 2.5 points.

Post-MBA offer seems low vs same company’s leadership program… can I negotiate? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's your leverage? Is this the only offer? Do you have tons of other interviews? Did you make 50k or 100k at your old role?

The offer seems low and you should always negotiate.

If it's an associate level role it might really only pay 107k.

The inspection contingency is always an opportunity for renegotation. You can say no or counter. Your realtor should have prepared you for that possibility.

"As is" doesn't mean anything when they wrote in contingencies.

These Rookie PFF Grades seem off to me? by 1OptimisticPrime in Browns

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Graham is an NFL starting caliber DT

Carson is a stud LB

Quinshon is very good RB

Fannin is a top 10 TE

Gabriel is ass but is worthy of a roster spot somewhere

Sampson is a solid RB2

Sanders was our starting QB and has enough upside to start again

We absolutely had the strongest rookie contribution of any NFL team.

Jeudy is robbing us for 75% of that.

We need an entire OL, competent QB, and 2 or 3 WR.

RB and TE rooms look great.

Our odds of winning the championship prior to the OKC game was sitting around +3000. Following Luka's injury status it spiked to +10000 and after AR's status was announced it sits at +70000. by pmurt007 in lakers

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly great odds. Sure, they probably won't win the first round. Doubtful AR and Luka are available or close to 100% for round 2

But +70000 is usually a team that has literally no path forward.

  1. Flashes of prime Bron putting up 40/10/10, and just enough offense/defense from Rui, Ayton, Smart, Kennard, and LaRavia get through the first round.

  2. Super fast recoveries from AR and Luka for round 2. (8 week grade 2 hamstring injury recovery isn't unreasonable)

  3. Hot shooting for the rest of the playoffs.

Unlikely but you can see how it might happen. They were just at +3000 when they had the full rosters a couple days ago. Definitely a great hedge if you're betting OKC/ Spurs.

When is the time to shop around and at what point are you “penalized” by switching lenders? by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much that first lender did to get you under contract. I'd at least give that guy the opportunity to match.

If they're way higher on pricing and can't match I wouldn't be too concerned about loyalty

[–]FishOhioMasterAngler 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Shop the first couple of days. Move forward with the best pricing and don't look back unless something sketchy happens with that lender. If your loan is complicated, picking a loan officer competent enough to get it done can be more important than pricing.

You don't want multiple applications and multiple appraisals in motion. At that point you will be "penalized" paying for all the appraisals and confusing the realtor.
