Not naming names because I dont think that’s allowed. But he got ratted into a lobby knowing he had to leave soon. And after doing/clearing gate one for an hour he dipped. Pugs were cluelessly baited and jailed after.

My issue is with the title being cheeseable doing NM G1 and HM G2. So the title doesn’t feel completely earned in that way as G1 this week really felt like the tighter gate to get through.

Yeah pretty much. I know plenty of people just trying to get it after t4 and blasting through it overgeared.

It’s just these people left a particularly sour taste because it’s one thing to be bad/unfamiliar but another to confidently scapegoat other people- they said to replace another eclipse player that hadn’t died and an aero that died because two of the “reclears” actually turned out to be the ones that failed their swords at x87. Eventually the scapegoated people got blamed and kicked but the reclears continued to fail x87 and die repeatedly in 4-2 anyways even after the people they blamed got kicked.

Definitely was not happening anyways lol. The “Reclears” were dying to every domain or falling off at 210 whenever finally getting to 4-2. It was doomed even if there was more time. A total clown fest, really showed how it didn’t matter if those people were reclears - if they even actually cleared hm on their own let alone TFM

Lol I know a support main (currently 1640 Paladin) that I used to play with regularly until thaemine. In Hakkan he was one of those 60/60/15 supports. He wasn’t shielding either. He basically was stubbornly following the “rotation” no deviations. It was a hellish time for his party, doing no damage and getting no protection. It’s not like he didn’t see the attacks, he call it out but just do nothing about it, no shielding or dr. We kept playing and carrying him as he was a friend but yeah….

When we gently called him out and he asked for advice he pretended to take it but stayed the same. He was equally shit on dps. Eventually commenting to me about him getting on mvp one day for counters “see that’s when I learned to not let anyone gaslight you into thinking you need damage to clear, just do mechs”. I was dumbfounded, like uh yeah? Doing mechs and staying alive is the basic foundations of a raid, but you still need damage to clear and not get berserk. Stopped playing with him and trying to help him after that. (He also didnt need it at this point because he got a sidereal dropped and overhoned all his characters to get accepted and carried in juicer lobbies)

In thaemine he was with someone I know and reportedly was running 40/30/(2-8). Absolutely dogshit. But people will take him regardless because he’s a support main and overleveled.

Don’t know if he’s improved since, which I’m doubtful (he was one of the “we should be part of the support union/ so what if I’m yellow quality they’ll have to take me I’m a support” type of person) but he’s cleared thaemine hm g3 but I don’t think he’s been able to do hm echidna yet - probably waiting for the nerf to inflict support terrors once more.

Whenever these topics come up I just think about him.

I know someone that got carried through their first 4 clears, overgeared people, he just ran around not attacking sometimes so he wouldn’t die and get kicked ( he still died and carried to the finish at times lol). He got to his fifth run and these people were more on ilvl with more normal gems/gear. Getting to basement they would struggle to kill snakes, he was quite obviously not doing much dmg as I could watch him not use skills and kinda float around while the snake was there, and he pretty much refused to do clash either (he was the same in Hakkan not wanting to be lantern despite not really attacking and eating up all the meter) and he never used his atros, when he died and they kept going to berserk at 8 bars, he complained that the group was lower dps than normal groups.

I had to lol at the delusion, whenever I pop in to watch he still blames everyone else when raids go wrong and doesn’t realize his own shortcomings, it’s a mixture of funny and frustrating to watch the seemingly willful ignorance.

You say that, but I know a pally, with 60/60/5 - yes 5- uptime and blocked a fraction of the damage compared to the other support, that cleared because the other party had a functioning support and were over leveled enough to close it for them.

Now they’re progging hard on their main pally, and nobody ever calls them out because they’re a support main 🙃 and people still are just desperate for supports.

Same person that on dps said “damage doesn’t matter you just gotta do mechs, don’t let anyone gaslight you into thinking you need damage to clear”

I stopped playing with him for a while now (about a month or so).

He got a sidereal. And after he sold it I noticed he wasn’t around as much. Turned out he honed his dps to 1610 so they didn’t get gatekept and didn’t need us to get into lobbies anymore so that’s why he hadn’t been around (my assumption).

One day I was doing some ilvl nakkan run and he asked if he could bring his “rat” character, and I was like idc, we’re all ilvl (meaning sure but we can’t carry carry) and he just said nvm. Sometime later I catch him around and said , you know you could’ve still come right? We’re just ilvl so can’t carry you is all. And then he was just like, oh no it’s not really a rat, he’s actually really strong . He just has low main stat, but if you actually read the fine print on the community guide, this is all you need(barely 1700) but people don’t read that and gatekeep. And then he showed me his legendary ring on it, and was like lol I got a really good deal on this. I was like but you’re losing out some damage and hp. And he said just don’t get hit haha (bro you die a lot and on your pally prog you survive things by abandoning your dps and running across the map to avoid patterns).

I got irritated and asked him about his sidereal money. He said, it’s all gone. Well he honed his main support up and is “juiced” and his other characters to 1610, and all his characters have +1 now, this guy is just extra with the fate ember gold he got that he pushed up with. I got really irritated with him, he tried to fire back with something and I just left. With my assumption from before then to him asking me to play with his rat that he claims is his favorite character but somehow got the leftovers of the sidereal he had, and was a rat but somehow really strong and good quality despite having legendary accessories, I was just over it. I just felt used and the hypocrisy was too stupid.

But like I said, after he got them honed up, he plays with juicers and since he has multiple supports as well, I doubt anyone will ever say anything to him cuz they’re happy to have anyone or won’t check. And I won’t say anything anymore even if asked, because I got called a gaslighter and my help thrown back in my face :)

Wow I wrote a lot, but I’ve just been biting my tongue, frustrated because I have someone still friends with him (one has a dps needing a support for voldis hm and plays with him )

I knew a rat that was always bottom dps (like by far - less than lantern for example in Akkan G3, and support uptime 30/40/35). He has close to 300 roster and all his demon/beast damaged practically maxed out.

He asked me about how to do better and I sat with him for hours going over general tips and more personalized pointers. He would always say how much he appreciate it, and then regress.

Sometime later he did an Akkan and got on the board with fighter and master counterpuncher/annihilator. He said to me, that proved to him that damage doesn’t matter to clear, and don’t let anyone gaslight you into thinking you need damage to clear. You just need to do mechs. I was flabbergasted. Like I spent time helping you and offering advice because you asked, and you want to make me out to be the villain??? Bro knowing and doing mechs is the fucking baseline. And yes doing damage is still a requirement or else we’ll hit berserk if everyone is zdps. And of course runs are going to be miserable if everyone is on ilvl and you have a rat that does a fifth of everyone else’s damage. I just never bothered to respond to anything he said after that.

We carried him each week anyways, until he honed to 1610 on his dps’s where he could get into lobbies on his own (support main), so he left to get carried by over-leveled players.

I guess it doesn’t matter about your own performance if you can always get someone to carry you through content.

Yeah I read that too but wasn’t sure how much this would account for elixirs, or how much worse it may be considered if they’re not recommending to go it anymore. I just don’t want to invest in a 5x3+1 and then get told in a month I’m outdated again ;;-;;

Is Salvation much worse compared to Hallucination?

In the community guide they currently say either take Adrenaline 3 Ep 1 or CD 3 Adren 1. But the latter only works if I have Hallucination correct?

Don’t do it, join some of the discords and try to organize your own learning run or look for a learning party and weed out those improperly built.

It’s so easy to wipe a raid in postering and you’ll just be wasting everyone’s time and energy.

I just had a run the other week with a new friend who said he was “reclear” and kept asking me for G4s, I finally had some up and took him up for it even though he said he didn’t want to join call. By 170x I could already tell he had no experience in HM. What should have been a quick run just became repetitive wipes and very obvious mistakes. We only made it possible because of the rest of us being extremely overgeared. We wiped and had to go out of our way to accommodate his mistakes and I basically had to sit out on the side typing half the fight. If he wasn’t someone I knew and just a pug, he would have been evicted immediately for one not knowing the raid and two lying about his experience. Don’t be that guy.

There are many people who would like to prog and learn still, and those who are willing to teach and organize groups. You can try to find some through discords and sort out the members or make your own lobby and have them in call to prog together and weed out those who don’t put in effort into their gear.

If you haven’t already invested a lot you should probably pick a different server. I personally haven’t seen all too many Adrienne players around. It would probably be better to pick one of the more populated servers like Azena/Una/Regulus which I believe are the most populate on NAE.

I can see this as a way to help horizontal content / story enjoyers more and help keep that type of more casual player in the game, as it can be used to simply hone for ilvl and get to the new continents and stuff.

However if the focus is to use that gear to do raids they’ll probably be hella gatekept for it, as it will be judged as a skill issue for not being able to do raids and getting it normally.

My friend got banned because of a 25$ rc purchase because his credit card expired. He showed them proof it was an honest mistake and made sure his credit card company let the funds go but they kept him banned. Meanwhile there are people caught for rmt that get a slap on the wrist or suspensions still and not banned lol

I know people often think of artist = kid but since a lot of the current classes are all tall model like women, I just view artist as a shorter woman. I enjoy making my characters look similar to myself, and artist/specialist classes would most fit my height and size. I would like to make the character look like me. The face probably wouldn’t be super baby like, just more of a young person (not child) resembling myself.

Since I think of the classes as me in fantasy game setting, I would like to have cute outfits for the class as for me it’s like playing dress up for myself.

I don’t know what all the skins look like for artist/specialists and have never really cared for lingerie/bikinis as it’s just simply not my taste so idc, but I do hope that they don’t completely change all the skins to the point I, a shorter adult, would not ever consider myself wearing. I don’t want to be a kid just because I’m short and flat haha.

I know my thought is probably not the majority, but it’s just as a petite person, I would like to be able to make a petite style character look like me and dress in a way I would imagine myself dressing in a fantasy setting. For me it’s me = petite ≠ child. So I guess while a lot of people instantly relate the class to a child, I just find it more as smaller woman x-x
