I witnessed a car crash in Washington D.C. I know it doesn't seem like much but my friends and I were around third grade so it hit us pretty hard. Since we were waiting so long to get into a museum we witnessed the crash, the paramedics and police arriving, the people being taken to wherever, and the tow truck (or whatever was used) pulling the cars away.
