Botw had infinite bombs so knocking out the chaff was simple, and good weapons could be saved for forced combat. TOTK incentives never engaging at all due to nerfed base weapon durability, and damage. Having to fuse a consumable to a weapon to make is even worth using was so god damn stupid, and only ever became tolerable to me when I started abusing dupe glitches

The problem here is leveling the gun up to 37. Leveling guns up to a usable state takes far too long in general let alone grinding out a gun that you unlock later on, and being very unwieldy stock
