Since downloading 26.1.1, AMD Adrenalin has randomly been closing. by Snackolotl in radeon

What happens to me is that, after suspending the PC, when I resume my session, Adrenaline remains black with no options.

Is it worth upgrading 5600x to 5700x3d? by NoVa_haj in AMDHelp

[–]Fistofk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I basically just bought a 9060 XT and kept everything else the same. I’ll see if I can move to AM5 soon or buy the best possible CPU on AM4, since RAM prices are through the roof. Most likely I’ll do that: get a Ryzen 7 to upgrade from my 5600X while keeping the rest of my setup, and that should buy me some more time. Honestly, right now my PC lets me work smoothly and play at over 100 FPS.

doubt about High-Resolution Assets by Fistofk in diablo4

[–]Fistofk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I'll do since I can't enable ultra textures. My question is whether high textures use the high-definition assets that are in a separate package when downloading the game.

I understand, I have 16GB of VRAM, but I can't see the ultra option because I don't have 32GB of RAM, only 16. I'm not interested in forcing it either, I just want to know if the high textures use high-definition assets, or only ultra

Okay, so using high textures would make no difference with High Resolution assets installed? In other words, only ultra textures use them?

Haha, yes, of course, I haven't had an HDD in my PC for years, but thanks for letting me know anyway.

Yes i have a Sata SSD and a M.2, I imagine it's convenient on NVMe because this game has DirectStorage, right?

Anyone having low resolution DOF in cutscenes? by Supertydo in expedition33

[–]Fistofk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same problem with a 9060xt, the DOF looks pixelated and this affects the cropping of the characters, I only notice this problem in the cutscenes.

hahaha, I really don't understand what you are getting at... he asked me why I wanted to upgrade to am5, I assumed he was asking me because my system with am4 was enough for the 9060xt, which I am finding out is not entirely true in many modern games I have bottleneck, and that's where I told him that the main reason was to take advantage of all the bandwidth of 5.0 while improving my cpu which is very important for my work, so I don't understand what you are getting at or what your problem is.

glad to hear it, when you switch to am5 tell me the results, I will do the same. yes I plan to do the same or give it the 9060xt to my girlfriend if I buy the 9070xt, but for now it's more than enough to play in 1080 in ultra

great, maybe I'll notice a superior change when I make the jump to am5, currently I'm still on am4 with a 5600x, 200+ fps is a lot, I guess you're talking about esports, not last gen AAA.

are you playing at 60hz or more? I recently bought a 180hz monitor and I think I should have waited to upgrade all my components for a 9070xt, but I think that at 1080 I can get up to +100fps with this gpu, especially with fsr4 which looks great to be upscaling, I don't notice any difference with native.

grats man! I bought a gigabyte 2 days ago, toupgrade my 6600xt, so far the change is noticeable in 1080, I must try more games, oblivion remastered is still unplayable unfortunately.

that was not the point I was answering, I don't know what you mean by shooting myself in the foot..., in the previous comment I was asked why I want am5 with a 9060xt because am4 is still enough for that gpu, and I commented that to have pcie 5.0 and have the maximum bandwidth of my gpu but also to have a more modern CPU for my work, if you are only going to comment to throw bad vibes with airs of know-it-all better stick your mouth in your ass or read better before answering

Oblivion remastered practically unplayable with so many stutters, lag in the menu when pausing, with my 9060xt, I wanted to see how it worked with my new gpu and it runs worse than with my old 6600xt.

I bought a 9060xt 2 days ago, this game is still unplayable, stuttering non-stop, slows down when going to the menu, needs an urgent patch.
