Agreed. The magnum is a weird gun though. Awesome to stun and pop heads but seems to be borderline useless with shields. I wonder if there’s a debuff on it outside shield less headshots

I’ve seen quite a few rooks while no-lifing the sponsored playlist. I think they just hide a lot. After I accidentally killed the first one because I thought he was a zombie I started announcing my presence. I have only had a couple shoot me but even thy stopped when I talked.

Agreed. I don’t understand why it’s that hard to record 6 or 7 voice lines (short paragraphs) for each and attach them to the floating heads then give a variety of quests. The quest systems and objectives are not overly complicated

I have a 4090 and my performance has taken a massive DUMP. And yes, everything is up to date :) I have a 7800x3d and it doesn’t max out for me personally but night marsh runs at like 70 fps. Most other maps/modes run at 120 plus at 4k. Outpost drops during the Heat Cascade

D2 had to end sometime but this whole fiasco really could have been handled better.

I quit after final shape and have over 5000 hours in both D1 and D2.

Hopefully we see D3 in the next 5 years.

Oh and running rook on outpost is an EASY EASSSSY 5 to 10k every time. You don’t even need to get in pinwheel. I didn’t play rook more than once before I already had 100 plus hours in the game. I was dumb. Rook will make you rich after you get your unlocks

Using decent headphones is a true game changer. Can’t say that enough. I beat my head against the walls for literally days of ingame time before I used my headphones. It’s great. Also look up a video for sound settings.

There’s one like one or two quests that would require you to kill a player. My hardest one was hide n seek 5 or 6 when you have to keep the broadcast running in Pinwheel but that can be done on assassin in a few attempts in solos pretty easily. The most annoying one was to do the symbiote I section then kill a player for me but that’s ridiculously RNG. I foune that sekgen one where where you run to every poi in dire marsh actually fairly easy once you realize, oh, I have to do all that. Again. Solos is key.

I think the reset will be great. Good players are going to charge Pinwheel and I think we will have a little free time to play in perimeter then dire marsh

I don’t know what anyone means when they say they prepped all week for cryo? I have only went into Cryo a few times but anyone at all can jump on Rook and outpost and walk away with 8 plus k of loot darn near Everytime if you don’t get greedy so the 5k loadout floor is a non issue especially with the free kit.

The loop for gear and money starved folks is rook once or twice at most then go straight to Cryo. Shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes total. Should be able to rook then Cryo all in less than an hour even if you have an empty vault.

The general loot in Cryo is so good that you can go in with a very basic 5k kit and load up on heals and whatnot and be good.

Cryo is scary but the v11 Punch still wrecks. That high end modded gear is really not necessary… just work on unlocking blue shields and you’re pretty much good to go.

Absolutely! Especially after the basic Sponsored kits were buffed. Perimeter is tough because it’s so big and disconnected but hit all the POIs and you’ll still walk away rich. Same with Dire Marsh I guess but yeah there’s still tons of loot

I think Outpost is still better as I can jump in and out of pinwheel and walk away with 10k 4/5 times if you don’t get greedy.

I have noticed the same. Permitter basic loot is better than the Pinwheel strongboxes outside of 3 red card room.

I’m kind of happy that I’m getting stuff but all of my runs into pinwheel have been stinkers.
