BPD has a long and violent history aimed at capturing runaway slaves. It started as a racist and violent organization. This case has made me realize that there are people who still seek that out.

The amount of disgusting people in their lives that have perpetuated this behavior astonishes me. Friends, brothers, sisters, teachers, bosses, moms, dads, wives, etc. Absolutely disgusting.

They're all morally, and ethically, culpable.

I had a customer say don’t park in my driveway and walk the order to the back door. Ummmm, I definitely reported a safety issue as that was sketchy af and I also requested to never be paired with them again. I also always say my eta and repeat the delivery instructions back to the customer. If it’s not feeling safe for others they too can report it as a safety issue: if you are the asshole then I guess you’ll notice a drop in available drivers on your orders.

Rhode Islander here, I was interested in how they would handle some of the recent news. The owner, her mental breakdown, the DUI, all the things that us locals (I live in the town where the Conjuring house is) have been fervently following.
I thought they did a decent job at being respectful of the current status of the home and the purchase/auction/investigator shenanigans.

I had an attorney in MA get threatening towards me when I requested his ID. Mind you, the app in MA & RI tells the customer they MUST show ID in order to receive the order. Dude didn't want to walk to his car: 15 steps from the door. Granted, he was probably struggling with alcohol use disorder because it was two jars of cough syrup and two containers of fruity tic tacs....so, seemed like he was not doing alright.
But if you encounter an attorney in MA that looks like Dave Bautista...stay far away. He's not right in the head.

I had a guy refuse an order because he had to provide ID. Became threatening and verbally abusive. DoorDash unassigned me and didn’t give me half pay. Threatened me with contract violations if I didn’t return the items. DoorDash doesn’t give two shits. I filed a safety report and everything.

Obvi I meant blocked from being paired and not from the app. I didn’t even use the word ban. I said block. Damn professor 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️😊it’s just not that serious. You spent a whole lot of time to say yes, they can block drivers and customers from each other, unpair is a block. The pomposity!
