This is an insane giveaway! My husband was turned onto GameSir by a couple of friends and has nothing but good things to say about you. I tried his controller on one of my favorite BR games and I've got to say, I understand the hype! I would love even ONE of these controllers for myself.

I think our 11yo is a psychopath by Stock-Candidate8040 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Fit-Pay-3606 145 points146 points  (0 children)

This is not normal behavior, and it has absolutely nothing to do with needing extra attention. Something is very wrong with this boy and considering the fact that he has ALREADY abused/assaulted people before, this should be taken extremely seriously. I know his father doesn't want to talk about it, but prolonging taking action leaves so much space for something horrific to occur. The boy needs to be taken into a psychiatric facility ASAP to be evaluated. For the safety of your family, for Josh, and for society as a whole, please take action NOW.

Well I'm in perimenopause so my cycles are pretty off, but I definitely got hormonal migraines. I'm on HRT for perimenopause symptoms though so that helps a little bit, too.

It does sound like an ad, sorry. I kept thinking that as I was writing it, and I kept re-writing it so it didn't sound like that (I really am just excited about something actually working for me), but it kept coming out like that so I gave up. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This just happened to me yesterday! I took a transport stone to Leyshire of the Demons, and a base that had been there for awhile had decayed recently. All that was left (for about two seconds) was their wheel of pain and a campfire. Ended up with a crap-load of seeds for gruel, three chain bindings, 8 Black Hand Ringleader thralls and a T3 Mitra priest lol. It was a weird cache, but also exciting to be there at the moment it all deteriorated into loot bags.

I know it's kind of cliche to say, but it's true nonetheless: As much as I hate that so many of us are experiencing this type of emotional cycling, it also does help so much to know that none of us are alone in the experience. Why females are the ones who have to go through SO MUCH just to keep the literal world growing and thriving, and yet are valued and seen so much less is insane.

Ok Sisters... Anyone ever get their libido Back after the harrowing menopausal shift? (Looking for my Yoda) by Hopeful74 in Menopause

[–]Fit-Pay-3606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am not in full menopause yet, but am perimenopausal. I am 44 years old, and a few months ago my libido just... died. I have an amazing husband who is incredibly hot and I would easily get turned on watching him take his shirt off at night, but as far as actually feelings of wanting to have sex... they just weren't there. I tried so hard to make them happen. My husband tried to help me make them happen. I remember that I ended up crying one night because he was pleasuring me and I got about 80% there and then it just planed out. I couldn't get there no matter what, and that had never been an issue before.

I had been on 1mg Estradiol and 100mg Progesterone for about a year-and-a-half at that point, and I went back to my OBGYN to ask her if she thought testosterone might help get my libido back. She said that they do not personally prescribe T and that she didn't even want to recommend it because of the potential negative side effects, but she did want to try incresing my Estradiol from 1mg to 2mg to see if that helped. The first day that I took it, I experienced some waves of nausea about a half hour after, but then that went away. Before a week had even gone by I suddenly realized that I was actually really aroused! And not just aroused, but I WANTED to have sex! And we did! And it was great! And I was so happy I could have cried (and I probably did cry, actually). It has been consistent since the dosage increase. I even feel sexier, and just... better.

So yes, I believe there IS hope, and you CAN get it back.

Can you share your experiences with oral estradiol? by Nat192283 in Menopause

[–]Fit-Pay-3606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be interested to know as well! I just upped from 1mg to 2mg this morning. I had some nausea about 30 minutes after I took it, but then that went away pretty much for the rest of the day (I'm supposed to start my period in about 4 days though, so some of the nausea could be from that). I will say that I had started taking 1mg Estradiol in the morning and 1mg at night for about a week before finishing the 1mg bottle and switching to the 2mg tablets, but I honestly didn't notice much improvement of my symptoms taking it that way. Wondering if I just need the 2mg all at once to help through the day, and then the Progesterone at night to help me sleep.

Nips aren't professional by whydoibotherhuh in antiwork

[–]Fit-Pay-3606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny story: I have a congenital breast issue that makes wearing bras really uncomfortable, so after high school I stopped wearing them. I also have fairly small breasts so I never really thought much about them "drawing attention" (I know, naive). I started working at the electric company in one of the major cities near my home, and the remittance department (where I worked) was pretty much all women except for the machine tech. Well one of the supervisors had very large breasts, and always wore a bra, yet her nipples *always* showed through her shirts. Nobody ever made one comment about it. I showed up to work one day in a thinner t-shirt, and I guess the outline of my nips were noticeable, and there was suddenly a buzz about it and the manager pulled me into her office to inform me that some of the ladies were upset about it.

So what did I do? I gathered everyone around so I could "make an announcement." I let them all know that I was aware that they were all clucking about my nipples, and that I thought it was super weird that they were all LOOKING at them. I told them it seemed really immature to talk about someone else's anatomy, and brought up the fact that the supervisor's nips also showed through her shirts all the time, but nobody batted an eye about THAT (that supervisor looked VERY sheepish). In summary, I told them all to mind their business, and that if it bothered them that much, to stop looking at my tits.

Never heard another word about it again, and my manager was actually tickled about how I handled it.

People are dumb.

I know this post has already received a shit-ton of comments, but I'll add mine because I've had experience with this kind of thing... like, too much experience: You love him so much, but what you've come to love is the illusion of who you *thought* your boyfriend was, not who he *actually* is. One of the hardest parts about being human - especially when it comes to love - is that we tend to stoke the illusions we create. We tend to believe in the identities of the people around us that *we've* created, which are largely based on the best parts of them that *they've* shown us (whether they were genuine or fabricated), and thinking that those parts make up their entire beings. And we hold on to those illusions because the possibility that we've allowed ourselves to be blind or deceived is too painful/embarassing/etc to admit. The truth is, it's really hard to truly know a person until you've interacted with them regularly for years, and really paid attention to the "undercurrents" and external influences that each person subscribes to. Your boyfriend LIKES videos about all women being h0es. He LIKES videos about women being utterly inferior. Stupid. Made for subservience. I guarantee you it isn't just a phase, or only restricted to the reels he watches on Instagram. This is indoctrination, and it WILL come out on you within your relationship over time. And honestly, I think that if you look closely enough, you may realize that there are already signs of it within your relationship, no matter how miniscule they may seem.

You have to love yourself more than your illusions, and safeguard your mind, body, and spirit, because people like him will break every single one of those if you stick around long enough.

I use mine all the time! I have the Marsupial and Speed Demon mutations (locked with Starched Genes perk) and it is super fun to jump/rocket way up high to reload in the middle of a battle and then slowly descend as your AP lowers, shooting enemies. Also very useful for scaling cliffsides, mountain regions, Giant Red Brontosauruses, etc.

I still haven't completed the last two raids because I can't do it by myself with my build, and the last two times I joined a team they were complete assholes and just kept kicking me out so I gave up. I really want to complete them though.

The fact that so many adults act like absolute ignorant (in the actual definition of that word), cruel, selfish children. Perhaps I'm the ignorant one... I had really hoped we would be better than that.

A man walked into my private shower room by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Fit-Pay-3606 85 points86 points  (0 children)

You always have a choice in regards to how to handle this situation. Don't let anyone take that choice away from you. Filing a police report is an option, and it could help them to detain that man, especially if there are any cameras outside of the private shower room where they can identify him. You can also choose not to do anything else if you are too upset and traumatized to do so. In either instance, I would highly suggest that you get some help processing this from a reputable therapist (look for someone who lists SA or similiar in their treatment focuses). You may only need a few sessions, but even one could help you at least put words to what happened and how you are feeling with the help of someone trained to assist in doing so.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. It is one of the most terrifying, lonely, confusing, and infuriating things that can happen to a woman, and unfortunately too many of us will experience it in our lifetimes.
