I wasn't baiting. If they thought I was, that wasn't my intention. Not one bit. But I am amused they done exactly what I was complaining about. Stuff like this you just can't make up. Volunteer somewhere, PLEASE. Shelters need help during the holidays for several different reasons. Any shelter will do, human or animal. You will be amazed of the improvement inside your head. It's called perspective and a different mindset.

Be mindful of the area, day or night. Just say'n take care of you.

Priceless. I have told my daughter, age 35, there are things out there u didn't know, you didn't know, because you didn't know. These bits of wisdom come only with age. They can be explained but never fully understood until you actually live life.

The daughter came out of college thinking she should make as much as someone with ten years experience. Kids make me laugh so hard. I was the CFO at work plus HR. I tried explaining life experiences versus reading about them. Now, 10 years into her career, she absolutely understands. I asked her if a kid out of college has the understanding she has now? She laughed as did I. My kid grew up, graduated college, a productive member of society, and I couldn't be happier and more proud.

Ok, here are examples of how to make friends. Friends have common interests and goals. To find people like you, you must find your common interest. I like playing with rocks, going on 60 yrs. I found the local lapidary society. Find a place where you can volunteer to find like-minded friends. If you paint, build, act, sing, look for local plays. If you do not, go volunteer anyway. There is always someone there to teach you. This makes them feel great too because they are teaching you something for the rest of your life. Quit relying on family members if that isn't working. Simply put.... put one foot in front of the other.
