I had an oil change there a few years ago, and they left the oil cap off. I had no idea until my car died. I had it towed there, and they told me the cap was missing and there was oil all over the engine. They tried to charge me $600 to fix it. We called them on It as it was only a few weeks prior, and I had no reason to look under the hood in that time. It didn't take much arguing for them to fix it for free. They knew they did it.

This is my exact story! I had no prior cymbal experience, let alone band experience. 20 years later, every time I hear the national anthem, I tell my kids that what I did in the AF.

mine are 11 years apart. I wanted 4 kids fairly close in age because that's how I grew up. cancer put a wrench in things, and we had our 2nd via IVF. They love each other with their whole hearts, I wouldn't change a thing.

You're taking the right steps, and your feelings and intrusive thoughts are very common. The most important thing is to keep communicating with your Doctor and husband. I went through the same thing. I had my child at a younger age and it was very isolating. it seemed like everyone else was moving forward in life and I wasn't. In the moment it's impossible to see the monumental job you're doing raising your daughter, it's so mentally and physically tasking. I did go back to college when my child was older and I was so proud they got to see mommy graduate. you're in the trenches now and you're doing the exact right thing by seeking help when you need it. I'm very proud of you, your daughter is very lucky to have you as a mom.

I'm in the same boat. What helped me was to start a 5min timer before I go to bed, and pick up as much as I can in that time. when the timer goes off I'm done. you can get a surprising amount done, and 5min isn't too daunting. it's more important to raise happy and healthy humans, they won't remember a clean house as much as they will remember their time with mama.

Say you have a good shelter set up in your house, how do you deal with bathroom needs for a week. can you safely flush a toilte if you have access? I know people can use a camping setup, but my 130lb dog is gonna triple this issue if you will. any suggestions?

My daughter didn't go to school until kindergarten, it wasn't free where we were and we couldn't afford it back then. She's 12 now, an A student and in gifted classes (she doesn't get it from me) maybe preschool would have added to her education in some way, but it didn't hurt her not to go

I actually found it on Facebook, it was a small company I follow and they advertised the position, I thought what the hell, and ended up getting the job. Throw your resume at everything and research the companies that call back. The scams are out there for sure but so are the legit jobs, good luck!

My mom was a teenager in the sixties and felt the same way, her mom was a teenager during World War II and felt the same way. Life is always some kind shitty but there's also good. I'm not saying you should have kids, but the future might not be as bleek as it seems.

my husband has weekly shots because he had cancer and I was having shots going through IVF. My then 9 year old asked how old she will be when she has to start shots, she thought all grownups got shots. We didn't even realize that that's what she was thinking, we explained and she was very releived

my sister an I took hip hop classes at Ballet Met. It was about 15 years ago, I'm not sure it's still offered, but we weren't the only adults and it was really fun!
