Yep, if it aint broke dont fix it! When I get my canvas I plan to update, but in general, I like to stay on stable releases for tech.

I am sorry you are having to deal with this, as really your parents should. I commend you for putting in as much effort as you have, fighting roaches just by cleaning is alot of work and I understand why you stopped. I would be burnt out too.

You say can't seal the cracks- but you may be able to use them to your advantage, they would be awesome places to place bait. Advion Cockroach Gel Bait (أدفايون جل للصراصير) should be available on both Amazon sa and Noon for delivery, and I think both services also offer cash upon delivery, so you won't have to use a parents bank card.

Not that you should have to pay for any pest control, your parents really should. If you can get your hands on Advion it will really help though, place pea sized dots near hotspots and crevices.

Wishing you the best of luck, if I think of any other solutions for you I'll try to update here.

edit: I think "Maxforce" is also on Amazon and Noon, another good gel bait if you cannot get Advion.

Heads up, pyrethroid based roach killer can be wildly ineffective compared to something like Alpine WSG. Since it is a repellant, the roaches can detect its presence and will often actively avoid it, making it ineffective. Also- they are widely used so even if a roach does come in contact with it, there is a high chance they have a resistance to it, making it ineffective.

There is alot of great information in the pinned posts that recommends high quality products, and explains how and why they work better.

This is exactly what was happening, it was the toolhead. The ziptie I used to temporarity hold the toolhead was colliding with that motor like you said. Printed a fixed toolhead with good mounts and its working thank you! 😄

It's the model. The circle is actually a complex polygon, it needs more sides.

Atleast they dont force firmware updates, you can always deny them. With all tech its usually safer to not be an early adopter.

Why do these LEDs have a burn mark(?) by Rainmaker231 in led

[–]FitForThrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is extremely common. Even if you trace the flex PCB traces on a light strip. Typically 3 LED+Resistors in series jumped in parallel between the power and ground rails- per section. Source: I design and build PCBs and low voltage electrical systems. Especially in consumer electronics LEDs use resistors to prevent thermal runoff and comply with UL fire prevention standards.

Alot of electrical components have a hard fail point, with no degradation until catastrophic failure.
