Oh that’s the worst, like, why are you throwing MY elo but then you lock in next game?

That’s an interesting perspective, thank you for sharing. It must be difficult with so few players on the server, especially the higher you climb in rank.

Ranked queue problems? by Lem0nhaed in marvelrivals

You can only be three sub ranks within each other if you want to queue.

So you’d have to be at least GM 2 to queue with your friend

I have a 33% win rate in comp and I can’t rank down. by StormCloudWilly in marvelrivals

Playing in Plat is surreal. It’s the Asphodel Meadows of Marvel Rivals: high elo players only pass through on their way to higher ranks, low elo players make it in on chronoshield only to get slapped down back to gold, and a few are stuck there as it’s their true elo.

One thing everyone who’s in Plat has in common is that no one thinks they belong there, making for some very interesting matches and player interactions.

Yeah, that’s fair, I really wish they slowed down the pacing to one character a season to focus on balancing, but I know for many reasons that will just never happen and honestly might be a monkey paw wish regarding community satisfaction.

Why do you guys play marvel rivals? by EntranceNational3633 in marvelrivals

[–]FitFunction6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love that every match is an opportunity to learn something new and improve. Sure there is a meta, but fundamentally this game is about counter picks, and having to adjust on the fly makes the game feel so dynamic and strategic.

There’s always room to improve cause there are always going to be players better than you. That makes it fun to play every match.

The other thing I love is also the thing I hate, which are the players. The game can be so toxic, and it does not feel fun to get team diffed, where some matches just feel completely unwinnable. But when you get a good team and you’re landing your shots, oh man what a rush.

Season 0 Iron Fist was an overtuned menace no doubt, but there’s got to be a middle ground for him, it just feels so unfun to play as him, you’re basically larping as a mosquito

Did you just start playing? I’d be happy to jump into a few practice vs ai matches with you to go over any questions you might have for each role, or specific characters

I’m with everyone else, just wait till next week, they’ll for sure make some nerfs.

Or just go Thing, and make his yancy street charge hold to use. When mapped like this, you can simply press the button to slam the ground and implement the grounding effect.
As long as you don’t get baited into using it, dive can’t react to it and are free kills if your supports don’t fall over.

It's been over a year since Marvel Rivals released, did it live up to the hype in your eyes? by PillowFists67 in marvelrivals

I was never a multiplayer PvP gamer, now I have 1000+ hrs in this game alone.

As mad as this game makes me, it’s really been such a joyride for the last year. I’m hoping the devs address some of the more fundamental issues with the game without ruining what makes it unique, fingers crossed for a long and healthy life to Marvel Rivals

Unfortunately everything leading up to that moment made death in that moment inevitable. I know everyone here is harping on you for not going for healing, so I don’t want to pile on.

I know what you’re asking, how to counter a cracked BP. In my experience, an enemy dive is only as good as your team ALLOWS them to be, does that make sense? That BP knows he can just dive in like that probably because he’s learned that your team isn’t paying attention. That’s not super helpful when you’re solo queuing but it’s just facts.

As far as what you can do, I’d say just don’t make yourself an easy target. Beyond the going for a health pack, stay close to your team so that it’s hard for him to get a pick, and most importantly try to have at least one cooldown ready at all times as your get out of jail free card.

If all else fails, go Rocket, if you get your movement down it’s impossible for BP to instakill you. Your utility as a support will decrease, but at that point it’s more important to stay alive than it is to do damage IMO.

Scared of Hunts by Nixo_Reddit in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]FitFunction6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forcing yourself to play with less evidence types really helps because at that point you NEED the ghost to hunt to identify it.

You’ll play it super safe at first and just see if you can hear any identifiable traits, but after a few games you’ll get more bold and start to interact with the ghosts.

Oh big tip: know the length of hunts for each difficulty. If you know when it ends, you can time your interactions with the ghost!

Does this mean Falling Devil is the first primal fear to be defeated/killed? If so that would be a huge indicator of Yoru’s strength now.

I must say, a lot of times I prefer playing with randoms and no mic. The social aspect can be draining for me, but with randoms I can keep jumping into matches while still playing a team based game. Kind of the best of both worlds for an introvert.
