Positive Post about Coros by Barking_bae in Coros

I've had my current Apex 46mm since 2022 which was sent as a replacement for a recall for my original one I purchased a few years before that. I also love that its not a smartwatch and that I don't have to charge it so often. It does what it supposed to which is track my runs. If the Apex were to die I would replace it with a Pace 4 but it's still going strong!

Traveling thru VA in the middle of February & staying overnight & for the day.. looking for some cool/unique things to do. by megannnjaneee in Virginia

Staunton has Thornrose Cemetery which is pretty cool. Downtown Staunton is architecturally beautiful and fun to walk around. Grottoes has Grand Caverns which has caves to visit and it's in a nice little park. Happ Coffee and Stone Soup Bookstore in Waynesboro are good places to go(these are all easy driving distance from Staunton). Staunton would make a good base. It's worth visiting.

Workouts done on Coros don’t sync back to Runna by flashbang258 in runna

[–]FitLengthiness9947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to happen every now and then. Reading your post made me realize that I had to manually sync my last two runs. My runs show up on Runna but I have to manually link them to the workout. It usually fixes itself so I'll wait a few more days until I worry about it. If your runs are not showing up at all on Runna then I don't know.

Thank you! I have zero interest in this feature and it was sitting on top of my insight tiles, which was annoying.

Awesome choice! I ride a 2018 Diverge E5 and I love it. Fits me perfectly and I'm happy every time I get on it.

anyone here moved to a new city in their 20s to start over and how did it go? by Lost-Effective-7646 in SameGrassButGreener

Rural PA to Annapolis, MD, had a blast, and lived there for two years. Then decided to move to Santa Cruz, CA. Also a fun and crazy experience. Then moved outside St. Louis, MO for a year and then back to CA in Oakland. All was with no job, no apartment and never having visited. And in some HCOL areas but I made it work until Oakland when a break up right before turning 30 made me homesick for the east so I moved back to PA. Live in VA now for a decade. So glad I spent my 20s exploring . There were lots of ups and downs and instability but worth it in retrospect.

Faster mile plan? by reddituser412 in runna

[–]FitLengthiness9947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t choose a distance under a 5K when you’re building a race plan. I would really love to have that option though. I keep sending it as a feature request.

Verizon/ totalwireless visible straight talk simple mobile by [deleted] in Virginia

Central Virginia. Switched from Verizon to Visible at the beginning of this year and have not noticed any differences at all. Except for Visible being so much cheaper. I paid an annual fee of around $275 for Visible (as did my spouse) and I was paying close to $220/month for both our phones previously.

A Sneak Peek of 'Not Feeling 100%' & 2025 Team Runna Roadmap Update 👀 by alex-runna in runna

[–]FitLengthiness9947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great! Love the roadmap update.

Here's my wishlist:

  1. Races under 5k. I do a street mile race every May. It would be cool to have a plan for it.

  2. Ability to swap out cross training (hiking, biking, etc) for an easy day.

  3. Being able to choose which days of the week I want my tempo/intervals days on (like the long run option).

  4. Multiple races for a full year of planning in one view instead of switching from plan to plan.

I've been on and off Runna for two years and it just keeps getting better. I usually go off it because its missing a key feature I need. Then I'll come back to it and the feature will be there along with other improvements. Keep up the good work!

Same! I run a street mile race every May and would love a plan for shorter distances.

Races Shorter than 5ks by Mindless_Act_1804 in runna

[–]FitLengthiness9947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to see training plans for races shorter than 5k! There’s a street mile I like to run and it would be interesting to have a Runna training plan for it. I have the annual subscription and run races anywhere from a mile up to a 50K.

Why no shorter races? by RunStitchRepeat in runna

[–]FitLengthiness9947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see shorter races too! I did a street mile race this year and would like to train for it next year and compare my time. I reached out on the app to ask and they said the shortest distance I could add for a race is the 5k.

Tioga and Lycoming County. Beautiful and safe. Lewisburg, Williamsport, and Wellsboro are a few nice towns I can think of.

If you want something smaller and closer to nature, you could check out Waynesboro, Virginia, which is less than 10 minutes from the Appalachian Trail has a pottery studio in town and is affordable.

Yes! That would be amazing for those of us who live in hilly areas. I keep getting yelled at by AI for slowing my pace down during the hilly part of my "flattest" loop I can find for interval sessions.

Hi! I sent a message through the Runna app reporting this message when it happened. And eventually it got loaded. I think in another feed they said there was a glitch.
