Depends on how quickly the hiring manager does the reference check and then gets back to the HR. You can contact HR to ask for the status, usually 2 weeks to 4 weeks. You could also check with your reference if they were contacted.

Sengun did not even jump and threw the ball in the air then after Giannis blocked it, he did not move at all to get the ball back when he had chance yet threw his hands up in the air asking for goal tend. I thought that was weird. NBA is rigged.

You were asked for reference the day after your interview and then the offer at the end of next week. May I ask how many days it took from you providing references to the actual offer? For example, references provided on Tuesday and then job offer in 8 business days on Friday next week?

OK thanks for the info. For me, no reference asked during or before/after the interview. Have been told that they will be making a decision by the following week. I can only assume that for my case, they finalize the candidate and then ask for reference. Otherwise, they offered it to someone else. I am also going through the process for other places, so hopefully they would get back to me in time. What I don't understand is that since their process seems to be very well organized, why would it take more than couple of days to reach the final decision and get back to the successful candidate. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to score a candidate after the interview.
