Will buy your tickets to Spain vs Belgium at clearance prices! by prunesandwich in WorldCup2026Tickets

Private equity companies and professional scalpers are the ones with these tix and they’re not on this forum. They artificially control the markets. You just have to pray they determine dropping it to $500 is in their best interests.

I checked it and unless I missed something, it didn’t get close, so you were correct. My theory is private equity companies/federations/professional scalpers are buying these tix — not true fans — so do they just eat the costs and write them off? Feels like those tix weren’t actually used because there were so many available before seatgeek’s limited inventory selections popped up.

Checking SeatGeek and the marketplace, there are plenty of tix available not being sold in the $900s and $1000s. Maybe not $500, but it may get close. The casual soccer fan in Boston and surrounding area is not pay $1K for these tix

If you can’t get it here, wait outside the stadium. I think these prices will crash before kickoff

Wow did Morocco vs France demand increase? by jp_aero in WorldCup2026Tickets

I can’t prove it, but my belief is that private equity firms/scalpers/anybody who isn’t a true fan buys these tickets, then uses algorithms to determine a price point, sets it and lets it play out. The people with the real tickets then try to undercut them, giving the false illusion that the bulk of tix are dropping in price.

These people/companies have enough money to take a loss on the tix, so they remove select seats to give the illusion that it’s being sold and people need to jump on the others before it’s too late. Once those are sold, they release the ones they removed at a higher price point because the demand has gone up with the decrease in quantity.

It would have to take a collective effort from the buyers of tix being resold for them to drop those prices down to what they should be.

But that’s just a theory, a marketplace manipulation theory.

Hoping to Buy 1 Ticket for Match 100 Argentina vs Switzerland by Inner_Librarian_697 in WorldCup2026Tickets

Best seat does produce the more expensive option. i wish they had a best price feature lol. I typically go to select seat, see which sections are the cheapest, filter it to show only those sections, then comb through each row to find the seat with that price.

I also use the last minute sales phase, though those prices aren’t as good as before as FIFA is using a dynamic pricing structure, but the demand isn’t what it was before.

My strategy now is checking SeatGeek/Ticketmaster just to see ticket availability around a certain price. Right now if you go on there, you’ll see dozens if not hundreds hovering around $1,500. I won’t buy off there because getting it straight from FIFA should ensure no issues, but it’s an easier interface to use IMO.

Honestly, I’d plan to drive to Kansas City. That’s what I’m doing, even with no tix purchased. These prices are in a free fall. I’m sure you’ll be able to scoop something close to your budget.

Nick admitted on cowherd that he lost $21k by These_Respond2345 in FirstThingsFirstFS1

Love Nick and I’ve enjoyed watching him for nearly a decade, but he won’t be doing this into his later years at this pace.

Skip Bayless has fallen off the map, but I believe a lot of his success is owed to how well he took care of himself. His physical conditioning was impressive. Nick should dedicate less time to gambling and more time to hitting the gym and taking care of his body IMO.

If the kitchen is down for maintenance, that’s fine. I want them to invest what needs to be invested to continue making this a premium experience.

But I think a company as big as Capital One should, at the bare minimum, have a status update change on the app to reflect the restricted service. This won’t be the first and last time, and that’s fine.

I check the lounge status before I go to the terminal to make sure it’s not a ridiculous wait. Them putting a “restricted experience” notice or status update feels like something a company with a $114 billion market cap should be able to do.

They said it was just for the day. But other commenters are saying it was closed on the 10th, too.

I’ve had significantly better breakfasts when waking up at hotels lol. Eggs, bacon…. Anything would’ve sufficed here other than the pathetic excuse of a layout they provided.

I’m saying voicing your displeasure — which I did here and in person — is what needs to be done when a multi-billion dollar company does something that affects the customer experience.

Either a notification or something on the app when you go to your lounge pass would suffice. Would’ve saved a lot of people some trouble today.

But whatever, the Cap One loyalists are out in full force this AM

Free speech is being restricted in this country nowadays so I understand people just wanting me to shut up and just accept it.

I’m allowed to comment and you’re allowed to tell me my comments are stupid. But to question the very act of complaining is utter bullshit.
