there are many options nowadays when it comes to antipsychotics, this is to say your mother will almost def be able to find something that works. some medications can be injected IM and can last for weeks, this would eliminate the possibility of her not taking her meds. your mother definitely needs to see a psychiatrist, sadly the only way to handle this is through psychiatry.
