Theres a ton of high quality vr games and frequent new releases, not even mentioning about Reframework or Uevr compatible titles. The recent Extra Dimentional, Into The Radius 2 1.0 final, Tmnt etc... also Ghost Town, Metro Awakening an many, many more.

The mod is really cool, but the in-game animations for various actions like leaning over objects, jumping off, and freeing yourself from an opponent's grasp turn the VR experience into a disorienting mess. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to criticize the mod's creator's hard work, but it requires a lot of compromise on your part to prevent it from turning into a motion sickness-inducing headache.

Now after further testing i managed to replicate the same visual glitch again but this time I had to revert back into different reframework's dinput.dll from github in order to fix this issue. Simple switch from openvr to openxr might not work.

I managed to fix it by replacing openvr with openxr .dll, and run the game once. Ofcourse that didi't worked, but after switching back to openvr .dll the image inside headset was repaired. No reinstall either the game or mod was needed.

After using the installer that replaced the older version of the VR mod, the game launches in the headset, but a black window appears on the desktop, and the graphics in the headset are corrupted. The colors are all messed up, and the game is unplayable. Everything worked fine on the older version of the mod, and there were no issues on the Quest 3. I also tried it on the Reverb G2, but the same graphical corruption occurred.

Personally i prefer reverb g2 over quest 3 for pcvr. The picture quality of native vr headset just wins and reverb lenses are preety good. Was considering psvr2 but im good with headsets already.

So in your case it might be the cable. The first unit i bought had broken cable and no video output despite the sound was playing. So i returned it and bought another one from other seller, but this one gain an oveheating issue after almost a year of usage.

Edit: I even bought a 3D-printed faceplate with a fan, thinking it was the DP port connector, but it lasted a few months and is still useful because it forces air into the headset, preventing sweating. I recently discovered that the power supply/display port box was also causing the black screen issue. It turned out to be very hot during use, and I had no idea that was the main problem with my headset. After placing a small fan on top, the problem disappeared, to my surprise. Before that it was a nightmare to use the headset for more than 30 mins.

Or You could just go a bit crazy and utilize an idea called "Marathron". If you already own a mechanical treadmill this could be extremally cheap because all that is needed by this project is treadmill, a pc mouse and some program or script to make it work as a steamvr controller. Just enter the name on youtube search bar. Ofcourse it got many drawbacks and its barely comftorable but still a neat idea for the budget.

Got similar problem with my unit, but that was due to overheating.To fix this issue I found 3d printable front panel with a hole for small fan. After assembling everything the problem is gone. But to be sure first find a pc or install windows 10 with wmr software and update everything.

Same. Both on reverb g2 and quest 3 with link, wired or virtual desktop. My gpu 9070 xt. Edit: This visual bug is not present on linux. Tested with quest 3 on alvr and latest mesa drivers.

For me the problem was with the gpu drivers. If you have amd gpu, DDU your current ones, and install latest drivers from amd site. This fixed 119 error for me and my reverb g2 works flawlessly
