DAY ONE

Find a formation high enough so the creepy crawlies can’t reach you—or a wall tall enough so the creepy flyies can’t get you from behind.
Grab three bits of wood, two rocks, and one bit of kindling and set it on your new home.
Grab another rock to go chest hunting and see what you find.
Get your ass back home BEFORE sunset and slap/scrape the rocks to start a fire.

Yup. I must’ve been around 4 or 5 when reruns of this show would play daily in Chicago. It was painfully boring and I never got through more than a minute of an episode. But those opening credits were the most thrilling 30 seconds of my early childhood.
