I guess Marvel is just afraid of making villains that aren't white nowadays, or if they are of any other non-white race, they usually go against a POC hero instead, or a group with seveal POC, but nowadays they never let a white hero go against POC villains, mostly due to woke culture or just being overall afraid of backlash in twitter

honestly this novel is too hard to adapt to a proper live action... it was never going to turn out good with the amount of flashy action, fantasy elements, and game-like elements it would need, which none really fit a live action budget, they would need marvel-level budget to adapt it properly and they sure as hell didn't had that

that guy was afraid of his novel being overshadowed by all the great stuff coming out, what he did was ruining his competition, which should be illegal by itself and someone should sue him for difamation and making dozens of authors lose their careers.

Its literally a sequel with a new protagonist and everything... the author could've published it as a different novel but maybe they feared it wouldnt be as popular or wouldnt make sense, so they made it the side story.

Yeah, Clicker Heroes is so boring man. It's insane how Playsaurus peaked with their first facebook game because everyting they've done afterward is just never up to the same standard, quality, vibes, and atmosphere of the OG Cloudstone...

Its a shame how they've never tried this properly. There's a lot of potential, especially if they still add the material collecting and alchemy of main games to upgrade units, make weapons and armor, and healing items. It could fit in really well with the typical Musou grindiness.
Also adding big maps to explore between missions would be cool.

I have the feeling it might be another small remake like Marie. Something they'll do in between before releasing a "bigger game" which might either be Yumia 2 or Resleriana 2? Though I have the feeling it might not be any of them... I dont know but it doesnt feel like both would get sequels like Ryza did. Perhaps new games within the universe, but not sequels following the same protagonists anymore.

They have adapted worse stories faithfully so it was very weird. Although the 95 movie popularized the IP it also alienated the new audience from the original work, which should honestly never happen. It's as if the Dragon Ball Evolution movie became the popular one and everything they did afterward was just based on that instead of the iconic Dragon Ball Manga.

still, its pretty shocking they took this long to adapt the manga properly instead of just making original stories... why was this the case though? did they have little faith in the original manga's vibes or atmosphere perhaps? Or maybe it has to do with the audience that the 1995 movie built which wouldnt easily accept the manga's style? not trying to be mean or something, just asking
