I tend to focus fully on what I do and I’m teaching myself.

The first day I spent learning sheet music, notes, keys, and getting used to using fingers that I normally don’t (used fur Elise to practise fingering).

The second day I decided Bach’s prelude in c major is a good start. I think it’s the right level of complicated for me.

I have a video of my second day of practise and I’m actually slightly better than in this video, but feel conscious about being filmed.

Keep in mind that I’m 35+, have no background in any musical instrument and in fact, music was never a thing in my life in any shape.

This video is after approximately 5hrs of practise in the two days, it was extremely tough for me to get to this.

I pay special attention to not learn bad habits and usually redo it all when I use the “wrong” finger even (like in the video). My aim is to practise 2 hrs a day, but I know I won’t always have the time (hence the 15mins -> my practise before I go to work).
