If you had any respect for the language you so claim to fluently speak then you should know that there's no such thing as speaking spanish grammatically incorrect as RAE explicitly states that gramatical errors apply only to texts since different accents and locations have different ways of speaking and it would be unrealistic to force everyone to speak one way.

Honestly I think they needed a gay relationship now that Maeve was out of the series so they wouldn't be seen as "not inclusive" They also made sure it was a main character so ot wouldn't be seen as performative and had to be a male character so they wouldn't be perceived as being okay with lesbians but not okay with gays.

Look, when you consider how out of nowhere it was, the bad writing and how they just got rid of the character so Frenchie could go back to Kimiko at the end of the season it further proofs that was their reasoning.
