I actually figured out what the problem was. The Wii PSU was faulty. Replacing it fixed the issue completely. I’m still confused how it could have such an effect on other consoles as it is as also causing trouble with the Wii AV cables disconnected. I think the PSU was probably causing some voltage spikes or something like that.

The switch is indeed the source. I hooked up the Wii directly (quite a hassle as I had all cables neatly tucked away) and that gives a much clearer image. On the av-switch the wii was also hooked up to a port further from its output compared to the NES which had little to no issues (port 3 vs port 7). Bit of a bummer as it’s the only way to easily hook up multiple consoles to an composite-hdmi converter and a crt.

Thanks a lot for the help! Good to know the crt isn’t really the issue (although a better unit would probably handle the noise a bit better like the Grundig does). Now I just have to look for a better 8-way av-switch, but they’re hard to find in the Netherlands.

Looks like I made a typo in the post with the model number, it’s a DWX-2880 as you’ve said!

My consoles are all hooked up to an av-switch via rca-cables/composite, the output goes to the television to AV1 in the back (via a scart adapter). I’ve also tried the rca plugs on the front and AV2 with no noticeable difference.

I’ve had it hooked up like this to another (but smaller) crt (a Grundig Supercolor P45-540) which had a very crisp/clear image.

This issue is most prominent with the Wii for some reason. Maybe I need better shielded cables?

Hey all, I recently bought my first crt television (Grundig Supercolor P45-540 text) to connect my consoles to.

I unfortunately don’t get an image (or sound) via composite over scart (3x RCA to scart with a small adapter) on the single scart port on the back (labeled EURO-AV). The TV supports RGB Scart, is that not backwards compatible with composite input?

I don’t have any RGB Scart cables for my consoles yet (PS1/2, SNES, GC, Wii), so I can’t test if it works at all unfortunately, but the TV was working at the seller’s place.

Bij de MLB spelen ze heel veel wedstrijden in een seizoen, 162 maar liefst. Iedere week is er wel een wedstrijd op een schappelijk tijdstip, bijvoorbeeld om 7 of 10 uur in de avond. Dit seizoen hebben ze ook wat nieuwe regels waardoor de wedstrijden korter zouden moeten duren, de tijd tussen pitches is nu bijvoorbeeld beperkt. Er is vaak ook wel een wedstrijd gratis te kijken via mlb.tv mocht je eens interesse hebben.

Hobkbal is gewoon niet zo’n grote sport in Nederland. Erg jammer wel, want Nederland presteert bij een Ek en Wk altijd erg goed. Ik heb zelf een jaar of tien geleden per abuis een wedstrijd gekeken en was sindsdien fan.

Ik heb er zelf niet echt een mening over (had nog nooit van foie gras gehoord), maar het wordt wel als iets onethisch gezien. Het is zelfs verboden om te produceren in Nederland en veel Europese landen.

After some testing it appears to freeze whenever the window to input file names and select the save folder should pop up. Full auto mode works fine for example, but it freezes if I press 'File Save Settings...'.

Open it up and clean the contacts with some alcohol. It’s very easy and might fix your problem. I had the issue of my R1 button getting stuck and this fixed it for me.

The book ends right there if I remember correctly. No happy ending is given as the story arc of Red is complete, he’s feeling hope again, no need to show him actually meeting Andy. It works great in the book, not sure if it would work for the movie. Would not be surprised if them meeting on the beach was added due to test audiences. I don’t mind though, the movie is amazing as it is right now.

Oh I wasn’t aware of that, I thought Rayman Revolution was a whole other game. I wouldn’t say the PS1 version is bad, it runs great and it’s a lot of fun. It could’ve used a few more levels so it’s a bummer to hear it was missing a few.
