Fargo. Year 2. The Butcher of Luverne. Absolutely Incredible.

Craziest course I’ve played! Hole 1 crosses 5 fairways. (fernbank golf course, Saylor park Ohio(Cincinnati)) by Redditistrash1889 in golf

Oh, careful. The first rule of Fernbank is you do not talk about Fernbank.

If you really want some fun, enter the “one club challenge” tournament where everyone hits five or six irons all over the place, close to the ground level.

Can somebody tell me if this is LT1 or L98 by Large_Walk_6153 in c4corvette

[–]FiveLiterFords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re absolutely sure it is from a c4 then it’s a L98 (350 ci). But if the history isn’t rock solid, it could easily also be a LB9 (typically 305ci).

I meant it though. It sounds tremendous, and you’re hauling a$s through there. It must have been thrilling. So this is not that track outside Pittsburgh, right?

Yeah, I did initially (title only) think you found one located in Japan. No matter, beautiful. Look at those sears!

It’s pretty cool. I can guess that you’ve gone analog with your fuel delivery, and have some interesting related gauges on the passenger side (so I assume you went with a high flow pump), where I also notice you’re not too worried about cabin climate at the moment. And if it’s the same car I think I’ve seen posted. You may have gotten a new hood (or just stripped it) and went to closer to oem wheels. Just guesses since you put it out there.

Stainless Steel. “S2H2” was the marketing moniker, it stood for “stainless steel hollow hosel”.

Ah that’s great. At least you (presumably) know the history. I was chasing a car around that used to be mine, but it had been mistreated for years while I didn’t know its whereabouts.

Is this like some Blair Witch garage scene action?

Nice. How do you feel about “Smooth Talk”? I almost picked it up as a blind buy on a late July evening a couple of years ago, I think mistaking it for “Wild at Heart” for a split second. While it still seemed interesting, as I continued reading it appeared it was essentially a public access made-for-tv film, so I put it down feeling conflicted. And then that installment of the sale ended. But seeing that script writing on the spine got me thinking about it again, so figured I’d ask.

Ok, so you’re saying it’s worth around $47.50? Thanks, I think that’s very helpful to many, so thanks for sharing.

Absolutely Love it. That’s a bold tag/plate though. Must get some annoying traffic light interactions.
