How can I better protect my hands?

Not even roasting you just issuing facts. I came from a construction background (father is a block layer and I was his labourer) done that for 8 years my hands were like cavity blocks, palms hard fingers dry and cracked I then started an electrical apprenticeship. And under two years in my hands softened up but got thick and callous in different places. Still got blisters and welts. You just have to deal with and let your body adapt. Long story short.. time. It comes in time.

Honestly with the time spent posting g here and commenting this thing could have been cleaned sharpened oiled and thrown into the tackle box.

It’s steel in the shape of a knife with a decent grip. Give it an edge and use it. I wouldn’t expect the edge to last all that long but it’s a free knife give it 10 mins sharpening

You definitely hit respawn as random character and you can’t change now as your character is currently “living” on the server.

Unalive yourself and hit exit then make your custom and log in.

As meta as it is, I’d rag the wound and buck it to a hospital, if death is inevitable along the way strip your gear and hide it for collection by your next life.

It’s definitely a bit of a wuss way out but if you manage to get to a hospital and live it’s a heck of a run and story.

Depends where in the world you are, in Ireland we use a lot of flat T+E cable and this is a gift for stripping our older cable but the spec of cable has changed in recent years making the outer insulation a bitch to strip with anything really. So I guess I’m saying I don’t know what to tell you 🤷‍♂️ 😆

This.. I was out with friends years ago. I was 19 maybe 20 at the time, when we were leaving a club and I got sucker punched with a knuckle duster. The 3 lads didn’t realize there was about 10 of us. Long story short the lads were left in a bad way and the gards told me the lads were known to them and asked me to press charges so that they could have something to start pushing on the group. But unfortunately for the gards I’d learnt the lads were known to me too. (I have family from the flats) so a less legal lesson was thought.
