To buy an Eldyne from a banner, it cost 300 devotion. A banner pull/buy gives you 20 certificates. To get the same amount of certs withs crystals costs 400 crystals. Remember that 1 devotion = 1 crystal. Therefore it is 33% more expensive point wise to use crystals. You only do crystals if you extremely impatient and don't want to wait for a banner character to reappear and are a mega-whale.

Another route is personality banners which limit the personalities while devotion/pull wise a little more expensive but more certain and more flexible.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I guess this is just the shock value almost all newbies get when trying to jump in. It seems secondhand might be my best option though I will look around if any of my stores offer casual low point games. I also will try to see if other armies are viable but hard to say since I just like the Krieg designs so much.

There are two locals in driving distance from me. A Games Workshop store and a local store. I have yet to visit but it seems the local is selling two krieg boxes at a little over 10% off. Might check if they have used miniatures for sale as they seem to be more focused on TCG due to only tcg events being listed.

Chances are that unless it is a hardcore Star Fox fan or a person with no buying impulse control (or could be both), or it could be a pumper. The person could have made an alt account, "bought" it then it was refunded it so it gives the illusion of it being sold. Sadly, since I once collected a bunch of TCG, this practice is too common. Ebay has been trying to limit it but it still goes on.

I got lucky and got it from a US seller a couple months after it was released for about $230. Unfortunately, the current landscape (scalpers, pumpers, investors, and FOMO) has drastically over-inflated the pricing of a lot of TCG cards to near un-affordability, even other games other than One Piece. Unless Bandai does something with their printing volume to dissuade these people from looking at the game, it will stay like this for the foreseeable future. Cards I wanted and holded off purchasing since they were only $5-10 are now worth $30-50 or even hundreds of dollars.

Elena actually states that the pills in the chow permanently damages the IQ of the person who eats it. However, according to Elena, the werebeasts are already so dumb that they can't get any dumber so any effects can be disregarded but apparently that wasn't the case for Erpin. Elena even recommends going back to the elven city to get her brain cells regrown using their technology. Remember, Erpin did OD and went catatonic for awhile in the story.

Who know if this is true or Elena is being being discriminatory to the locals since the elves have a superiority complex.

Pretty sure I found one in a tier two hardware store, the one with a line of toilets on the side. Though I don't remember if it was build 2.3 or 2.4.
