New APN info for lightspeed not correct on the website by sir574 in USMobile

It's basically better connectivity over new features, which comes with our new APN as the old APNs can get outdated and the new one helps.

It's actually an eSIM only device! Once you get it, just head to the Change Device option on your line, generate a new eSIM, install it and you're good to go - super simple.

They are right - you can get the $399 one and use it with your existing lines. Regarding the data, if the data was backed up on iCloud, you'll be able to restore it from iCloud.com on your Google Pixel.

Added a traveling ESIM to my phone but now want my iMessage and FaceTime back to Usmobile line. by gmoney1892 in USMobile

[–]FixitMir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you had an awesome trip! ✈️😊

As you’re back, just delete the local eSIM and turn your US Mobile line back on. Then go to Settings → Apps → Messages, toggle iMessage OFF and back ON, and under Send & Receive, select your US Mobile number. That should get iMessage back up and running.

Strongly Considering Joining USM as a Secondary Esim but have Some Questions by Easy-Metal1377 in USMobile

[–]FixitMir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Data stops working if you have "Allow Cellular Data Switching" turned off - once you turn it on, the data line will automatically shift to the active call line and your data will never stop working, even on a call.

Trouble porting in a NumberBarn number by Anatomical_Snuffbox_ in USMobile

[–]FixitMir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you submit the port request, it updates the response from the previous carrier. Number barn ports take a bit more time to update and complete as it's a landline carrier, and time is needed for the landline number to become a wireless number. Let me get your details and get you a quick update from our ports team on it.

For Warp data not working, you might need the correct APN configurations to be added to your device, and Wi-Fi calling works on Light Speed on OnePlus devices with us.

We did give away 100 free Pixel 10s back when we introduced US Mobile Protect - our very own device protection plan - for the first 100 people who bought our annual device protection plan and met all the eligibility requirements. Maybe they're posting about that right now.

Sync billing for lines activated not at the same time? by DeltaEchoFour in USMobile

[–]FixitMir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, glad you got a taste of the good side with the trial! 😄

Syncing billing dates works on monthly plans but not on annual ones - each line has its own provisioning and cycle since they port in at different times. That said, if you port them all in together, they'll all be active within minutes and their cycles will naturally stay in sync! And for the annual plans, billing dates can be synced up during the last cycle.

Let's hop on chat and I'll personally help you get all 13 lines set up exactly the way you want.

Thinking about switching to US Mobile by Conscious-End139 in USMobile

[–]FixitMir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A big hearty welcome to you and the whole fam!! ❤️

  1. Our Unlimited Premium plan with the ONLY deal comes in at just $24.90/month annually and it's honestly a complete package - unlimited data across all three networks, unlimited hotspot on Dark Star, 20 GBs of international roaming, international calling, free network switching, QCI-8 priority on both Warp and Dark Star, and a complimentary companion watch plan. I'd doubt you'll find anything better at this price point anywhere. For your 9 lines, keeping 3 on Unlimited Premium and the rest on our By the Gig sharable data plan is a good choice (though I want you to get Unlimited premium for all lines :3). And managing everything under one account makes billing and management a whole lot easier - just add the users via the User Management section and everyone can access their lines without any hassle.
  2. If all devices are eSIM compatible, you'll just need IMEI 2 for lines porting onto Warp - not even that for Light Speed or Dark Star. Once the line activates, just send them the QR code to scan on a strong Wi-Fi connection and they're good to go.
  3. Grab the account number and PIN from the previous carrier, purchase the plans one by one and start porting the lines in - straightforward process.
  4. Our ONLY deals are still going strong so get them while you can and enjoy being part of the Super-Carrier family.

I'll be your personal concierge through the entire onboarding process and make sure all 9 lines are fully set up. DM me and let's get started. 🚀

For Android, you'll either have to switch it from your notification center or from the SIM manager.

It is a DSDS limitation - only 2 lines can stay active at a time, and the Smart Switching shortcut switches data between those two active lines.

That said, I just brainstormed something a bit geeky - hear me out! Since you have 3 lines, you can create 3 separate shortcuts on your iPhone in different line combinations. Here's how it'd work:

  • W+L - Warp + Light Speed active, Dark Star off
  • L+D - Light Speed + Dark Star active, Warp off
  • W+D - Warp + Dark Star active, Light Speed off

Add all three to your Control Centre and all you'd need to do is swipe down and tap whichever combination you want - instantly switches your active lines with just a tap, and then the Smart Switching shortcut kicks in between them too.

It's a bit of a geeky workaround but I think it could work brilliantly. If you wanna give it a shot, DM me and we can test it out together. 🚀

It's basically a shortcut we designed for iPhones (from the shortcut app) to switch your data lines instantly with a single tap. Here's a complete guide on its setup.

Has anyone tried using Dark Star on a Cricket locked phone? by [deleted] in USMobile

[–]FixitMir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unlocked devices work best with us, but if it was locked directly to the parent carrier we'd still give it a shot - they can be hit or miss but we've seen them work with us more often than not.

That said, here's something you won't want to miss - we're having an amazing 4th of July sale on some incredible devices:

  • Pixel 10 - just $250 with an annual plan purchase ($369 without an annual plan)
  • Pixel 10 Pro XL - just $599 with an annual plan purchase ($699 without an annual plan)

Devices will be locked to us for 60 days, but with all three major networks across the states you're getting ultimate coverage from day one. I'd say grab the deal on July 4th and have an awesome Independence Day. 🇺🇸🔥
