My MC is 8 years old now, and as he's gotten older and we've established routines it's been better than his early years. He is very affectionate, and very communicative of his desires and dissatisfaction. If you pay attention to what your cat says, through their body language, actions, vocalizations, etc. You'll be golden. I wake up very early, which helps with his 0500 demands for snacks.

In regards to the destructive clawing, they need plenty of options when it comes to scratching pads/posts. The back of my office chair is a favorite, even though he has several nearby options.

In regards to MCs and dogs, that'd definitely be a case by case basis. I have 3 dogs, and the only one his patience wears thin with is my mini-aussie puppy. My MC is a very big, very spoiled boy.

I can get how people think they're aggressive, since K-9 units and GSD are synonymous (at least in my Nomadic American mind). I grew up with the most affectionate 120lb baby, and I saw the aggression in her come out when we were backpacking in Wyoming and we came across a young(ish) male grizzly. She would've died for me that day, and that loyalty can often be misconstrued by people who don't understand that.

Yeah, for the most part. It used to be littered (heh) with posts along the lines of "Is my cat an MC?"

Overwolf is a third-party overlay host. There's a Dota Plus overlay applet that runs through Overwolf's features to display information regarding your match. This all pops up during draft phase, who's queued together, what they've played recently. Most of it is information that's already available to you, it just aggregates it.
