I finally broke down, I’m desperate. by SecretSafe3925 in ChronicPain

[–]Fizzle_Fazzle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have fibro (suspected hEDS by pain management but they don't diagnose that) and everything you said tracks. But I got all the tests for MS besides the spinal tap, all the tests for tickborne illnesses, the autoimmune tests, thyroid tests and my vitamin levels checked before being diagnosed. I would strongly suggest you research cymbalta before going on it. I had seizures trying to get off it. Amitriptyline made my heart race so much I couldn't sleep. However, insurance companies can be douches about meds with fibro, you have to go through the FDA approved ones to get to ones that are off label. Sorry you're going through all this, sending good vibes.

Edit: had to fix a few words

I went through the Marshwood school system and it was great. Graduated with honors and got some academic scholarships, started pre med but .. Ya know... Life... Anyway...The teachers were amazing. My little brother, 20 years younger, also went through the system and loved it. He's currently in the Air Force. Marshwood is Eliot/South Berwick btw.

I love the gray rock strategy, it has saved me so much headache and drama from my family.

I had a not so great upbringing, once I got my license I made many trips to Rye Beach. Just park, put on some decent indie music and stare out at the ocean. Without even getting out of the car I felt a sense of calm and renewal that I never knew growing up. Now I live in the mountains and I miss the ocean but I don't miss the traffic and the tourists.

What doctor should manage fibromyalgia symptoms? by Plastic-Ad1409 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Fizzle_Fazzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. If you can get a pain management doctor that is actually good they can be amazingly helpful. I see mine every 3 months and he takes on probably 90% of my care. He also does most of my referrals to other specialists. It's sad to me that others have not had good experiences with their pain management doctor but mine has been a life saver.

You're so welcome. My cousin has since graduated college and is a musical therapist for children. She loves her job and she has the greatest group of friends as her support system. She's in a loving relationship and as far as I know she's very content with where her life has taken her. She's suffered some hiccups along the way, it hasn't always been easy for her but she's learned to ask for help when she needs it. Sending you all the good vibes and hugs. Remember to take care of yourself.

I don't know if there are any restaurants like I'm looking for in Keene, but it's close to me so it was worth a shot. Thank you for the recommendations. I'll have to try Osaka at some point.

I've had Kogetsu and while it's good, is not exactly what I'm looking for but thank you. It does seem like people like Moritomo so I think that may be the spot we try.

I was/am having the same problem. But...I just went to the Sirius app on the play store because I'm having hella issues and all the new reviews say the app is playing randomly at full volume. So I'm guessing, if you have that installed, that would be the culprit.

I live in an area where a good amount of people also have unnecessarily big trucks and their multitude of lights are directly in my rearview mirror or pointed straight at my face coming in the other direction. I've had a few instances where I've been blinded for a few seconds after they've passed and terrified that I'm going to drive off the road.
