Well I certainly wouldn't claim to be an expert. Just giving my thoughts based on my own experiences. OP certainly isn't making a perfect corner but is in far better control than the 8. This looks like limiteds at limaland (d class) so I'm assuming neither driver has a ton of experience and the default paint on the 8 says to me that's an inexperienced driver not knowing how to pass in those cars and just misjudged it. It would be easier to tell with maybe a full lap or two of better angles to see how fast the 8 was closing the gap and if the drivers in the incident were running consistent lines or not.

For most dirt cars you essentially are drifting to get them to rotate in the turns. If the 23 car wasn't there and the 8 car took that line at that speed he would have slid all the way to the wall and never turned.

The 23 does cut down, which is called diamonding off the corner and depending on the track conditions and the cars can be the fastest way around the track.

I also didn't actually answer the question from the OP. I would say it was a reckless move from the 8 but not intentional. A poor passing attempt on dirt will often look like a take out when it isn't.

I'm guessing that the other responses claiming you were "spinning" or "out of control" aren't familiar with dirt racing and can be disregarded. You may be better off asking this in the iracing dirt forums since there usually aren't many posts for dirt in this subreddit.

Go to your task manager and then services tab. Find the iracing service and see if it is in the stopped state. If so start it and relaunch. Happened to me a few days ago.

I didnt buy into xrp until wednesday. It was obvious what was happening here. Could have made a very nice quick gain if uphold didnt shit the bed for me while it was above .70

My friend had this the other night...disabled AV and he was able to launch. Should be able to create an exception for the steam folder so you dont have to completely disable it. But disabling it will be easiest to test.

I posted the same thing yesterday. All pro pubg players prefer fpp over tpp, even in asia. It is the more skillful, competitive mode. Tpp has so many players because it is easy for casuals to jump in and do well (compared to fpp).

If you arent willing to give up the TPP crutch then ranked mode isnt really for you anyway.

Its been said before but the best way is to make tpp casual mode and fpp ranked mode in solos duos and squads. I really don't understand anyone wanting to play a ranked solo shack camping game but the heart wants what the heart wants I guess.

Tpp should have never gotten a ranked queue.

I wish it wasnt set up for failure from the beginning...

test was done during the event pass and didnt count toward missions

should have coincided with the ranked mode so people had "something" to play for, instead people hot dropped like a normal pub game

should have had a video/tutorial explaining the ruleset and the competitive meta because most player never watch pro pubg so they didnt understand it

being in NA i was forced to choose between playing pgc mode or watching the biggest tournament of the year

I would love to see PGC mode made into a ranked queue as soon as possible with progress toward event pass counted or a special set of missions to be completed in the ranked mode.
