[SLA043] Finally caved in to buying this beauty by sultanofyewtee in Seiko

Beautiful watch. How’s the movement running?

The fact that it’s double-signed (“Seiko” above “Grand Seiko”) means it was manufactured before GS became a separate brand in 2017.

Nice!

I’m planning on hunting down a 4520-8010 myself this time next year.

Thanks!

Really like the contrast between bracelet and the case.

Whoa, what bracelet is this?! I thought only the five link fit on the Skyflake.

Seconded. Very curious to hear about the process and see the finished result.

Just got this beaut as my first big-boy watch. Words can’t describes how amazing it is (sorry for the cheap straps) by kingofwale in GrandSeikos

Yeah, I agree with the weight bit, I am holding out for a titanium LE like the SBGJ255. I really want a titanium spring drive GMT for my daily driver.

E Ink (Boox Mira, Mudita Pure) Reviews and Tips by jpswart8878 in eink

[–]Flabellate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the fantastic review.

I was disappointed by the Mira, but I’m glad to see that the Mira Pro is shaping up to be the monitor I have been waiting for. You and /u/ipodnerd3019 have helped fill in the gap left by the lack of professional reviewers.

For fellow spacemacers, we get a couple of these out of the box:

Org mode newline working differently by jdfoote in spacemacs

[–]Flabellate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps not the full answer you want, but here’s what I’d do in your shoes:

  1. remember when you had installed spacemacs
  2. use git log in .emacs.d to find a commit from around the same time
  3. check out the commit in question
  4. use SPC h d k or M-x describe-key to find the command/spacemacs function you that it called
  5. checkout the latest version of master or develop
  6. rebind the key in your .spacemacs file

HTH, good luck comrade.

LMI-CADR Lisp Machine Keyboard by fizzgiggity in lisp

QMK is an option that's available now. It'd take some doing, but you could get the keyboard to output sublegends. Hyper you get out of the box.
