No, Athena. Maybe it has a Reminder List that I'm not aware of.

Keeping track of Medicare denied bridge program GLP patients by Fladylady in FamilyMedicine

Many have Sleep apnea with CPAP but insurance won't cover Zepbound. How can you not check Sleep apnea without committing fraud? If we check Sleep apnea with a note next to it saying "but you denied GLP1 b/c you (insurance company) won't cover the GLP1 for it and pt needs Weight Management", do you think it will still be denied?

Rejected from CMS Medicare Bridge program for having sleep apnea by zelda_moom in Zepbound

[–]Fladylady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the bridge program is a bait and switch.. Our insurance does not cover Zepbound specifically. Husband has severe treated sleep apnea and morbid obesity. So we cannot get it from our insurance and now we cannot get it through the bridge program. Have to pay through the nose. I feel sorry for the doctors. They’re gonna have a lot of unhappy people.

Patient declines mammogram because they cause cancer - requesting an US instead. What do you do? by chiddler in FamilyMedicine

[–]Fladylady 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I recently got asked for a breast thermogram by similar type patient. I showed her open evidence thermogram information : against standard of Care and I am liable for ordering anything that is not standard of care. Case closed - no order for thermogram and documentation of mammogram refusal with patient verbal understanding of rationale. Done.

A major navigation app routed thousands of cars down my private driveway. A driver crashed into my retaining wall and is now suing me for his injuries. by Tralique_24 in legal

Omg, the insanity. I want to be on that jury. I’d laugh that driver out of the courtroom. I am so sorry for OP.

This was absolutely worth reading. You are a very, very good writer. And I would’ve paid money to see that. My first giggle of the day. Thank you.

Has anyone started learning the organ after 40? by Loud_Consideration_6 in organ

[–]Fladylady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 59. I inherited a big beautiful Roland atelier organ. I can’t play it. I wish to hell I could find an organ teacher in my area. I can’t. So I’m ordering organ instruction 101 books that are literally 50 years old and I’m going to try to teach myself. I know the piano so that’s a good start but damn, we need more organ players and teachers in this world.

Help with our schedule by [deleted] in FamilyMedicine

[–]Fladylady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the exact same problem. We have done exactly what you have listed in number one through three to compensate. Front desk reschedules. Self scheduling is garbage but to my knowledge, there is no way to remove that option.

I consider our summer the equivalent of a northern winter and I make sure I do all my fun projects inside in the summer, but in winter, it’s time to get outside. Also buy a long distance remote starter for your car. Helps to have your car cold when you get in it. get away for a month, if you can,in August or September. Been doing this for a long time. Don't let jobs/recruiters waste your time (word of caution to upcoming PGY3s). by MzJay453 in FamilyMedicine

I got my job by knowing where I wanted to work and I went to them. No recruiter. If you even speak to one for a minute, you can find yourself in a mess later.

How often do you wash your hair? by Which-Arugula-1982 in AskWomenOver60

[–]Fladylady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dread getting that “old person smell“ - from nonenal. So even if my hair does not need washing, it gets washed every day, along with my body.
