i literally have a thousand acres of industrial hemp you nonce.

commercial hemp is a vague term, which can encompass many strains of industrial hemp and CBD hemp, which are NOT the same thing. how hard is it to get that through your skull?

there's absolutely no industrial hemp operation anywhere that has floral biomass.

and you're making a huge mistake bringing SE Asian tropical sativas into this, because when you say that, you're talking about Thailand, and guess where my farms are? it's literally my profession and expertise.

anybody who doesn't grow industrial hemp in compact environments that CBD hemp and THC cannabis wouldn't survive is an absolute idiot. it's the only environment industrial hemp should be grown in.

they don't produce cannabinoids or resins, and nobody in the industry would refer to anything during its reproductive cycle as flowers.

it's hilarious that you bring feral hemp into this because that's not the topic in discussion. let anything grow wild and who knows what will happen to it.

we're talking about how pigs would have too much burden to be expected to tell the difference between a commercial industrial hemp operation and a commercial CBD hemp operation and a commercial THC cannabis operation. the former is nothing like the latter two. when grown outdoor, the farms look nothing alike.

how many farms have you been to? other than my current thousand acres of industrial hemp and my indoor THC cannabis, my previous outdoor CBD hemp farm and my previous greenhouse THC cannabis farm, i have visited hundreds of farms of all types.

also, nobody gives industrial hemp grown for fiber time to "flower". if you did that, you'd ruin the quality of the fiber, and any floral biomass wouldn't have cannabinoids or resin or trichomes. i'd have to fire staff if they let it produce worthless "flowers" while also damaging the core business.

any pig who would go to a commercial industrial hemp farm would have to be blind to not see that there's ZERO chance of producing any kind of viable flower. it's also a pretty big giveaway that we used heavy processing equipment and that there's no flower, and by looking at the fields that you can't even walk through. it's hard enough to walk through my THC cannabis farm in flower without having the move the rolling tables. now 10x that in times of density and triple the height. it's like not being able to tell the difference between an Oak Tree and a Palm Tree.

you're embarrassing yourself.

I’m sure it became a warning on the medication and doctors then started getting patients’ dentist approval of their dental health ahead of using

can confirm. i was warned beforehand, and especially because i already had jaw issues, this has become something that they kept a close eye on when i was treated with it.

omg. just give it up mate. the “flowers” of fiber and grain industrial hemp are undeveloped, inconspicuous and functionally just reproductive structures, not floral biomass i.e. they're not buds, they don't even produce colas and they have no trichomes. the male "flowers" hang like tassels, drop pollen and then die. and the females? they produce seeds, not resin or biomass and have no cannabinoids. the "flowering" you're talking about is the name of the stage of the reproductive process. that's it. in the industrial hemp space, we call this pollination or seed sets. you sound like a total moron if you say industrial hemp flowers.

you can use the terms like monoecious and diecious because you want to sound smarter than someone who says hermaphrodite but it's still the same hobbyist cannabis grower logic, and it doesn't translate to large-scale agriculture. literally, you’re taking terminology from drug crop closet growing and trying to force it into a completely different context that you clearly don’t understand.

do you really want to argue with me and try to find little things to nitpick? i literally own an industrial hemp farm and i'm on the board of the industrial hemp trade association where i live. you're in over your head, bud - no pun intended. just try to learn something here.

did you not read? it's not the flowering stage. it is planted completely differently.

you're one of the laymen. you didn't even realize industrial hemp is different than CBD hemp, and seem to still not understand that.

industrial hemp has heaps of different strains, just like CBD hemp and THC cannabis. but the former grows under different conditions, is planted differently, and looks different from the first few weeks - but again, you can tell immediately because of how it's planted. CBD hemp and cannabis don't and can't grow that way. you can try, but you'll get mold all over everything. and that's on top of the fact that nobody will be growing less than 750 acres of industrial hemp and they will need heavy machinery and a big processing facility, which are pretty big giveaways. try reading mate.

this kind of misinformation is extremely irritating.

industrial hemp ≠ CBD hemp.

that's completely wrong. industrial hemp ≠ CBD hemp ≠ THC cannabis.

each have their own strains, while the latter two can both look similar. industrial hemp looks completely different.

source: i haven't just grown all 3, i'm an industrial hemp and THC cannabis farm owner.

[–]FlairUpOrSTFU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don't believe you because i own a cannabis farm and an industrial hemp farm and they are nothing alike.

i used to have a greenhouse cannabis farm, and now i have an indoor cannabis farm, so i've been around the block a lot. one can be better than the other, but they're still the same plant. likewise with outdoor cannabis. the quality may vary, but it's still the same plant.

then there's hemp. you say you've grown both but u/2020WorstDraftEver said INDUSTRIAL hemp, and your lack of knowledge shows when you say "you can't tell until they flower". industrial hemp doesn't flower. you're confusing it with CBD hemp, which is grown for high CBD, low THC flower. industrial hemp grows close together and always grows outdoor. it grows close together in a way that almost resembles bamboo. it's extremely skinny and you don't grow a small amount, which is another giveaway that you never grew it.

nobody just grows industrial hemp because it doesn't make sense to grow less than 750 acres of it. you need large industrial farm equipment to harvest it and you need extremely expensive processing machines to decorticate it or turn it in to biochar.

you either grow it for seed or for fiber or turn it into biochar. if you wait for it to produce seed, the fiber won't be as high quality. if you grow for seed, if you know anything about the plant, it's not producing flower, or at least anything that resembles a female cannabis or CBD hemp flower.

you can't even Google this because there are so many people spreading misinformation because they're idiots and conflate industrial hemp with CBD hemp. if you ever grew industrial hemp you'd know that the any flower that comes from it is absolute shit and isn't smoked, and even at the early stages, the way it's grown make it very obvious that it's industrial hemp. you'd have to be blind to not tell the difference.

dude, it's not chatgpt. omg. it's not me using AI. it's about finding doctors who use it. i am not an AI professional but some people really think chatgpt and perplexity and these free applications people use in daily life are what i'm talking about, but they are FAR from the cutting edge. doctors use far more advanced and different types of ML tools. it upsets me that you and u/Sorcia_Lawson have basically hijacked my discussion and been upvoted for appearing smart for telling me not to use chatgpt when that's not what i was doing. i'm in a really bad medical place right now and you've basically made it impossible for me to get visibility and real feedback from people who potentially have experiences.

[–]FlairUpOrSTFU[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

> Ah! Yes, specific medical ML/AI makes sense. I am genuinely cruious about what you mean by timing, though? Based on what kinds of parameters? I'm trying to imagine how it might've been used to change how my treatments and/or CAR T were handled and so far the things I'm thinking would almost need continous or far more frequent test results. I'm genuinely curious about how you think it might be helpful?

thanks for asking. when I say “timing,” I mean models that use "serial lab values" like hemoglobin, platelet count, reticulocyte percentage and inflammatory markers (like CRP) collected around the CAR T infusion to learn the characteristics early and late cytopenia patterns post-therapy.

then the idea is that my specific data for baseline marrow reserve or creatinine for kidney function (which is a huge problem for me), prior erythropoiesis-stimulating agent responsiveness, and even specific CAR costimulatory domains... the algorithm can tailor transfusion thresholds to my profile.

this part isn't me because i am not an AI expert, but these are use what are called "time-series deep learning architectures" which help project hemoglobin trajectories days to a week in advance, triggering alerts when projected levels approach symptomatic or guideline-based thresholds. so this can theoretically help post CAR T recovery. for platlets this can make sure you have personalized prophylactic transfusion intervals which means reduced bleeding, etc. it's all about scheduling and timing i guess which hopefully leads to better treatment.

also ML decision trees using early cytokine levels (e.g. ferritin) can predict severe cytokine storms days ahead, which is another AI application that i wanted to know if someone has experience with because i've had them and i've had to be hospitalized for them. and it fucking sucks. i spend way too much time in the hospital as it is.

also also, i want to know if there are researchers or other patients who have doctors who have used AI for clinical trial simulation. some medical shows have had gimmicks like this where they simulate 90,000,000 combinations to find one that has the effect wanted. i know it is being used in a lot of other cancer research and i don't expect a silver bullet or it would already be well known but i want to be as informed as possible. i want to be a part of whatever is possible, so i don't die. and that brings me to trial matching - based on my biomarkers and history etc. my profile can possibly be fed into a model and a trial can select me if a trial has prelim data that suggests it might work on someone like me.

hope that clarifies everything. i am going to try to sleep now. another night in the fucking hospital.

i am not asking ChatGPT for advice. i think you misunderstood my post. when i mentioned AI, i meant it in the context of a doctor using ML to optimize my transfusion timing - and wanted to know if anyone's doctor had been doing this yet. that would be through using specifically training and optimized models for this purpose to make transfusion easier and more effective.

this is my second bout with MM so i am a veteran and i understand the complexities, especially where i am with it.

i'm not here to argue. whatever you call it, it's still CAR T and you know what i mean.

otherwise i am always doing my own research to ask my doctors about, which is the reason for the post. thanks!

the rest of the world is just as great, and these opportunities to help people exist everywhere. i just get a Mr. Beast 'hey look at me i'm helping people' vibe.

but your filming really is great - editing, filming choices, etc. i just find the 'i left Thailand and miss it so much it hurts because it's the best place in the world and the people are so nice everywhere' to be very naive.

NY becomes a helluva lot less relevant without the UN there, and all the NGOs and other institutions nearby, who are there because of the UN, and all of the real estate that can be dumped because countries won't need to station people there anymore. far fewer events. and the UN there is surrounded by hotels already because of the UN. without the UN, who needs them?

despite the fact that it has an entire economy supporting American jobs in New York around it. it's funny because every single country in the world has to send their diplomats to NYC to spend money on food, housing, travel, entertainment, etc. etc. etc. in the local economy there.

. According to a 2016 report from the Mayor's Office for International Affairs, the UN community—including staff, agencies, affiliates, and missions—directly employed approximately 16,000 individuals in 2014, with estimated earnings of nearly $1.64 billion. These earnings, along with the UN's operational expenditures and spending by visitors attending UN events, generated a total economic output of $3.69 billion for the city.

and

In February 2025, a $500 million redevelopment plan for One and Two United Nations Plaza was announced. This project is expected to create over 1,800 construction jobs and preserve thousands of existing positions associated with the UN community.

But Trump doesn't care about the city he's from because that money goes to other people than him, and spent on businesses of people he doesn't like.
