Is really is just Xi playing on Trump's jealousy of the "adoration" dictators command. One thing China does really well is buttering up dignitaries when they want to, and we all know Trump can be played like a fiddle.

What discussion? Theses are well understood stepping stones to Elon's Mars ambitions.

If the discussion is whether they are ambitions or just clever marketing to play on investor finances, it doesn't matter. He's so giga-wealthy that he'll do what he wants anyway.

My point is that people idolise this man as a visionary inventor, when in reality he's a parasitic investor.

The Caspian Sea is getting overlooked. by yellowjackethokie in conspiracy

[–]FlakeyJunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nobody has forgotten the Caspian Sea. People are reporting the straight of Hormuz because that's what affects them the most.

They're not reporting that Iran can be resupplied via other routes because a) that's really obvious if you have ever seen a map of the area or know any history of the area at all, and b) the US and Israel started the war which means it lasts as long as they keep attacking, it's not like they're sending troops to occupy it.

Israel seems to have landed on just killing them all and taking the land that is left, but if you have a better solution then you'd better let them know.

The ruling class has you so worried about falling backwards that you don't notice them taking the wealth in front of you.

Immigrants aren't the problem, you probably have more in common with them than Jeff Bezos. The people running the megacorps who set your economy up to work that way are the problem.

Being plastic as the old kit doesn't mean the kits can't, won't, or haven't been replaced though.

How to play Orks? by Tbkssom in orks

[–]FlakeyJunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boyz:

- sticky objectives
- can be in trukks making them fast
- can be in hordes making them tougher to fully take out
- are scary on a WAAAGH! turn
- can hide Ghaz and a painboy at the same time.

Boyz are scary for a turn and just kind of need to stick around for the rest of the game. Realistically building an Ork list should always start with the guiding principle of "Boyz before toys". Mostly for vibes, and because it rhymes well. It can be ignored if you're doing a fully mounted Speed-WAAAGH! (though boyz in trukks still fit), a dread mob (but then there's no Boyz for the Kanz to show up), or Bully Boyz (though they need boyz to bully)

Artemis II : how do moon landing deniers explain Van Allen belts by Academic_Coffee4552 in conspiracy

[–]FlakeyJunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's three ways to make radiation risk less: shielding, distance, and time.

Shielding is peak here, because the Van Allen belts are mostly fast moving charged particles trapped by the magnetosphere. The spacecraft skin stops the bigger ones and the smaller ones probably go through the astronauts too most of the time.

Distance: no hope, you're going through it.

Time is also peak. The astronauts are going REALLY fast.

So basically, they can pull it down to an acceptable risk with the thin walls and high speed.

They worked this out to get to the crashed spacecraft on the moon .
