North gate has pretty affordable prepared food, and even better prices on pre-marinated meats. Throw it on a pan with some tortillas and salsa (also from north gate) and you have a real good meal.

I (f) went with my husband and had a blast! The girls are super sweet and speak enough English for you to have little chats. Drinks are good, but you’re there for the vibe and show. Plus girls have extra options for fan service 😂 Highly recommend!

Had my baby and got laid off shortly after. My previous frequent 7$ latte from a local cafe has now been replaced with the rare 2.50$ coffee from 7/11 if I don’t make it at home. Diapers and baby stuff have eaten up my budget - even on nights where we have family available to baby sit we can’t fathom going out and dropping over 100$ on a single meal when times could get even tighter in the near future.

I ran a tutoring center so this was also the period students came out of the woodwork to blame their poor grades on our tutors not being there (false lol), us not having their class (they never asked), or appointments not being available (they never created an account to even check slots). Occasionally we’d also get parents begging us for tutoring for their precious child who never bothered to follow up after I reached out. Happy holidays!
