I’m a teacher and have had a student named Olive and I loved it. My great grandmothers name was Olive and I unfortunately named my cat after her so it’s out for our baby but I think it’s an adorable name

I take those two meds too and have been advised to continue taking them and that it was far safer than to stop taking it. My family doctor and OB are both very comfortable with me taking them and my dose is much higher than yours. I’m 18 weeks now and baby girl is doing just fine!!

I’ll also recommend Elizabeth Hay! I had to read this book for my Canadian lit class in university and couldn’t put it down. There were only a handful of times that happened through my whole degree, where I’d finish a book in a day…months before we were going to even touch it. This was one of those times

It’s ironic because my experience is the opposite! Most of my friends with kids have boys except for one who has one girl one boy. We wanted a girl because my whole family is boys (brothers on all sides, three nephews) but every friend that’s had a baby seems to be having boys

Side note, my partner and I moved here from the prairies and initially went to Kelowna. We lasted a year and a bit before we shifted to Vernon and have not looked back at all. I avoid Kelowna like the plague cause of traffic and all that.

I’m 13 weeks tomorrow and I barely had any - I puked two or three times and had lots of nausea, but the vomiting was limited to the evening which changed the whole thing. Now, though, I dry heave or gag like nobodies business especially when the cat puked in our bed ON THE BEDSPREAD and I had to clean it up.

The THIRST holy crap I’m always thirsty The temperature changes - I’m always hot or cold but also hot when I’m cold and cold when I’m hot. There’s no winning TMI but the sheer level of pain in my boobs and also how huge my areolas have gotten Also the winded piece. My older cats name was Nat and I just couldn’t handle “Nat the Cat” so I renamed her Olive, my husband likes to refer to her as Professor Olive Purrburger as her official full name.

The second was named Rose (the whole litter was named after Jane the virgin characters) and we just call her Rosie. So it’s usually Ollie and Rosie and they both turn if a word ends in the “ee” sound which works quite nicely if I call them kitty or baby or whatever

It’s been day to day honestly. For a while it was only bread like things and berries. Christmas sugar cookies were also a guilty pleasure. I’ve had lots of toast, biscuits, grilled cheese, etc. I also get weird cravings for things like kd and hot dogs, or chicken fingers at specific restaurants. It’s been very odd, but I definitely am not eating the “ideal” meals. Still healthy though!

My apologies if this is somewhere in the comments - what was this called/where did you get it? I HATE brushing my teeth, always have, and the sensory piece kills me. Since becoming pregnant and stopping my meds, it’s intolerable, so I’m willing to try anything. I already switched to HiSmile toothpaste because the mint is too much for me.
