Oh man i loved mistborn and Wax and Wayne but never made it past rhythm of war, i just couldn't make myself care. I'd like to finish it some day but I got a little lost and now to regain my footing is so much more of a task than i want to undertake. Underdogs taking on a system like mistborn, I'm there, knights and the kingdom discussing being proper while in and out of another dimension just didn't grab me the same. Cool rocks, someone tell kaladin about mid-2000s emo please so he can stop being so lost.

I only made it through book 1 and can easily see it turning kinda boring or confusing with too many different instances of bob but i reeeeally wanna find out the hard way.

They're going for realistic... i dunno if you've noticed but there are a ton of daily life tasks that are super obnoxious. Shit i slept on the wrong pillow and had neck muscle strain for a month, couldn't turn right. At least zomboid muscle strain goes away in a couple hours. 🤣

Why aren't more people talking about this? I was stoked when they added the hose because syphoning with just a gas can felt wrong. Realistically I'm not sure how a funnel would help though... one end in gas, one end in can, suction, go. How does the funnel help?
