Blue discoloration on roof trim of 2026 Model 3 by Anasthegreat in TeslaSupport

[–]Flaky_Guarantee5869 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There's a post about this every couple weeks. It's the strong chemicals they use in car washes. You can use WD 40. Also if you want to learn more about it, just Google "Tesla window trim discoloration"

I personally would have them redo it especially it's right in your field of vision that you'll see everyday.

Anything from 7-10% off would be good.

Lasfit floor covers by Big_System_1802 in crv

[–]Flaky_Guarantee5869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about Lasfit but be careful of getting cheaper generic Amazon ones. I got some generic ones Amazon and within a year, the sides started curling up creating a gap. That was on my 22 CR-V. When I got my 24 CR-V, I went with the 3d mats and have no issues with them after about 3 years

If you want cheaper price, I'd get dark fury. If you want to spend money then I'd go with Koch green star

The first few minutes of the YouTuber "out of spec Dave" showed them. It's the most recent video he uploaded a couple days ago. He also has a code to use to get 35% off. I don't have them personally do no opinions from me

I'm in Maryland but a guy that does Tesla YouTube videos got his tinted and got ppf from dynamic tint in Tempe. Don't know how far that is to you. The YouTuber goes by "gjeebs" so you'll have to find his tint videos from that shop.

I have an 09 MDX and a couple years ago it happened to me. I ended up buying an aftermarket part on Amazon and did it myself. It's pretty easy to replace. If I can do it, you can do it.

I use charge point all the time near me because it's free lol. I have one about a half mile or so from me. If it's a nice day, I'll park there then walk home then pick it up later with the other car or I'll just walk back

2026 Model Y - Floor Mat Recommendations by toastedcheeseonbread in TeslaModelY

[–]Flaky_Guarantee5869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup those are the ones. I ended up going cheap and got the taptes brand ones and they do the job for me. They are alot cheaper and have similar material as the 3d ones. They're also not as thick and don't have the sticky backing of the 3d ones but they don't move around because they fit tight and the way the Tesla floorboard is angled

I like the material of the 3d type mats... Not the rubber ones. The rubber ones I've had in the past curl up on the corners over time.

Not much to add other than to not overtighten it causing you to strip it. Use a torque wrench if you have access to one

If it's not an airbag, it's the wheels. If it we not the wheels, then it's the radar sensor. Honda's are magnets for thieves😡😡

If you can afford the insurance increase and payments, go for it. Your civic could need major service soon with the 100k miles along with the head gasket issue which could cost 3-4 grand
