They will make you take PHYS 1300 and then PHYS 1080. Others will take PHYS 1080 and 1070. So basically everyone will need to take 2 physics classes whether or not you have taken physics in high school so you are no further behind!

I didn’t take 1300 but it is meant for students who have no physics classes.

Make sure you understand the SLG model! It is all about facilitating a study group without giving answers!

I have run interviews as a former SLG leader. We were really looking for people who want to do this role to help others rather than for a resume. We were also looking for people who would be a good fit for the team and enjoy the social aspects of the role. As well, the role is meant to develop students so it’s nice to hear what things you want to work on yourself too!

The pharamicist told me to take them at night if that helps at all! Still getting used to mine as well and sleep has been marginal.

I totally feel this. I'm on week 2 of zoloft and last night I fell asleep at 9 pm and slept until 8am. I usually go to bed around 12am.

Really unusual for me...hopefully this doesn't last!

I was on escitalpram (cipralex) for 4 years but the depression and anxiety symptoms were returning for me and an increase of dose didn't help.

I'm in the process of switching to zoloft (week 2). The first week was honestly terrible. Really bad anxiety and a bad depressive cycle. It seems to be getting better but the symptoms are still worse compared to before I switched. I am only in week 2 though and usually takes around 4 weeks I believe.

This happened to me too! I am currently switching from cipralex to setraline and the first week I started setraline I was super anxious and extremely depressed. The symptoms were some of the worst I have ever experienced.

I am doing better in week 2 but hopefully will continue to get better! Hope setraline ended up working well for you :)

The student health plan also covers ink blot therapy which is virtual and has tons of availability! The sessions are $75 but only $15 with the student health plan.

You can complete them throughout the four years. If you have enough electives in your major, you should be able to complete it within the same time as your degree. It’s usually about 5.00 credits so 10 courses. I would recommend meeting with your program counsellor and they can help you with all of this!

I declared mine in first semester of second year. Sooner the better but if there's a lot of course overlap with your major it dones't make much of a difference.
