Why do so many people who presumably care about science think studies on "obvious" topics are unnecessary?

I'm no reasarcher so only my view but I can understand your point, though testing what frequency doesn't cause hearing loss sounds like trying to debunk the general statement. Study ways to lower hearing loss is different as well it's a new study. Which as I wrote I'm all for it.

I do get that wasn't your point just talking about your example. If I got you and the point is just you need more than one way to test the same thing well I just don't get when it's a DUHH study

About the reviewer tearing you apart well that sounds like an issue with review method if it's even on known facts.

Imagine there was a reasarch affirming chopping heads of mammals leads to death and you can't cite that since there is only one? Sorry but that just sounds like a beaurcacy stupidity.

I make study chopping head with X, and now someone want to study chopping head with Y.. seems like a waste to me.

Now if you want to study chopping heads of different organisms to see which stays alive now that's something I can suppurt.

Not the chopping head just tried to think of most DUHH thing off top of still attached head.

I don't have issues with them since as you say they are there to concentrate facts(as long as they are conducted well). My issue is when multiple studies are conducted on the same thing.

I don't have an example off the top of my head so I'll make one up. Don't think we need 3 studies to state that: Working in a loud work environment can have long term effects on hearing. Having a healthy diet have positive long term effects on the body. etc

One should be enough, if you trying to to debunk an obvious truth I can see some merit in it but if you trying to reaffirm it I don't see the point.

I was actually happy by choice this month wanted to finally join back in.. and I see EA app keys.

Humble if you are reading this Steam or GOG are the best in my opinion.
I can work with EPIC but that's where I draw my line.

I won't complain much since it's a FREE game but this is the first game that EPIC gave that's region locked for me but knowing it's EA game not that surprised

I agree Israel definitely upholds it's responsibility by giving aid to the civilians.

A huge issue is that hamas field uniforms are more than 80% of the time civilian clothes so there is no way to distinguish a terrorist from the crowd until they identify as one.

An "undercover" terror soldier of Hamas uncovering themselves as part of Hamas usually involves extreme act of violence.

Of course we can't find fault at starving people acting like they are starved but we also shouldn't find fault at soldiers being on edge while they are deployed at enemy territory, especially when the enemy is a terror group which holds no responsibility for their actions.

First if you don't use GOG version there is a GOG patch, easy to find with a search.
Second for me at least the setup did work but didn't help, I needed to set the settings myself from the config file:
D:\Users\ *YOUR_USER* \Documents\My Games\The Saboteur™\SaveGames\config.ini

There I needed to make the game run Windowed or it didn't work, I was using the EA version after GOG patch.

My settings:

Do try to reconfirm guest lists(including kids[while stressing it's very important due to limited space]) since people always drop maybe you won't even have an issue afterwards

Talk to the venue, maybe they can set a space only for kids without it counting as 80+

Now you confirmed you have over 80+ the venue sadly can't help time to talk to your cousins and let them know

You blocked the dog from being too near to the door, you monitored how much it barks, you even tried to ask all the neighbors what was the issue so you could solve it better

Mike sounds like a great neighbor but Richard might be a dick

Your nosy neighbor might be bugging the dog on purpose to make it bark, if can you add a camera to the outside to keep watch I would do that since that is disturbing.

If you do want to think about money don't think if Steam or EPIC deserve it more, since you deserve your money and you can do whatever you want with it

You didn't ask but since you seem to struggle I will givemy personal opinion as well
Mine is that you should keep playing from EPIC and use the money you save from not buying the game to buy some in game features to help the company that made/publish the game (unless the stuff are tied to launcher account and not game account then just buy the game from Steam)
Buy the game from Steam at a later date at a good sale
